Happy Election Day!
While it may be a tense day, a frantic day, or a nerve-wracking day given the stakes, it is above all still a day that the Lord has made. So let’s rejoice and be glad in it.
A Spiritual Battle for the Nation — Not a Battle of Taxes, Tariffs, and Trade Policy
“And if at any time I declare concerning a nation or a kingdom that I will build and plant it, and if it does evil in my sight, not listening to my voice, then I will relent of the good that I had intended to do to it.” (Jeremiah 18:9-10)
By some accounts, 32 million evangelicals were not planning to vote at all today. This is a time of evil in our sight, just like walking past a man who’s been beaten and robbed and left by the side of the road. They are ignoring the wellbeing of children who’ve been exposed to all manner of depravity and the little ones who’ve been caused to stumble and sin.
We suspect many of you have been working hard these past weeks to convince those planning to sit out the election to love their neighbor and get to the polls. May God bless you for your efforts. We know most of you have been praying for the election results. Let’s accelerate our prayers today, fiercely attacking in the spirit the forces that hope to tear our nation down, and thereby reclaim the land from those who say what is good is bad and what is bad is good.
When one side’s dual focus is on demonization and the destruction of life in the womb, we know this is a spiritual battle. When the Democratic presidential candidate tells Christians, “You are at the wrong rally,” we know this is a spiritual battle.
We were endowed by our Creator with unalienable rights. With those rights come the responsibility to take care of business today. And that starts on our knees and then standing in line to vote — for hours if necessary.
For those who do find themselves in long lines at troubled, even dysfunctional polling places today, we pray God will give you the endurance and strength to persevere.
May we all do our part so that God will not “relent of the good” He intends for America.
Let’s roll.
Candidates Running Mad: Harris Tries to Convince a Muslim of the Joys of Bacon
Monday was a madcap final day for both presidential candidates. Donald Trump held four rallies in three states, finishing up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in the wee hours this morning, while Kamala Harris spent the day in critical Pennsylvania. She closed out her campaign with a concert featuring Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.
Trump’s closing argument? “Kamala Broke It, I Will Fix It.”
Harris’s closing argument? “Sure, I Broke It, but Trump Is Hitler.”
Here’s a strange factoid: According to The New York Times, in a recent appearance on the “Subway Takes” podcast hosted by a Muslim, Kareem Rahma, not only did Kamala Harris refuse to talk about Gaza, but she tried to convince Rahma that bacon bits make a lovely spice. (That part was buried DEEEEEEEEP in the story.)
Harris’s campaign offered to re-do the podcast, but in the end Rahma shelved the interview.
Could you imagine for one second if Trump had tried pushing a pork product on a devout Muslim?
Then yesterday, at one of her rallies in Pennsylvania, Harris tried to start a chant. It didn’t go all that well.
JUST IN: Kamala Harris glitches out, starts chanting 'Let's Get Out the Vote' at her audience who had no clue what was going on.
The crowd started chanting 'Kamala!' before Harris tried changing it up.

If you can’t even lead a chant, how can you lead a country?
Meanwhile, J.D. Vance had a bit of fun on the campaign trail yesterday.

However, there is some good news for the Harris campaign. They finally figured out a way to keep Joe Biden from going off script and doing campaign events for her.

Harris Camp May Not Be Happy Campers
Number crunchers for the Democrats can’t be happy with what they are seeing from the early voting results. According to the Republican National Committee’s chief data consultant, Democrats are seeing a heavy downturn in urban and female turnout in swing states, while rural turnout is up. For example, in Pennsylvania urban turnout is down 381,000, while female turnout is down 450,000.
Remember the Olympic Boxer Who Claimed to Be Female and Beat Up Women to Win the Gold? Definitely a Dude.
This summer, Algerian boxer Imane Khelif won a gold medal in women’s boxing after pounding each opponent into brutal submission. Khelif was hounded by accusations of actually being a male. Folks who questioned Khelif’s place in the women’s competition were also pounded into submission by being called “haters.”
But now, Reduxx has gotten hold of a medical report on Khelif. He’s a biological dude. Tests show he has XY chromosomes, undescended testes, and a “micro-penis.”
“The IOC and the Algerian Olympic Committee are complicit in endorsing male violence against women under the guise of public entertainment on the world’s largest sports stage,” Independent Council on Women’s Sports cofounder Marshi Smith told Reduxx. “They stood by as women were subjected to physical assault for spectacle — stripped of safety, fairness, and their lifetime achievements. All those involved must face swift and serious consequences.”
We bring up this story on Election Day because how our nation votes literally will determine whether we will be a country that lets males compete against girls and gives them space in their locker rooms and showers, or a country that respects the rights of women and girls.
For example, the NCAA has suspended indefinitely San Jose State University associate head volleyball coach Melissa Batie-Smoose after she filed a Title IX complaint against her school for allowing a transgender player, Blaire Fleming, on the team. As part of her complaint, Baitie-Smoose alleged that Fleming conspired with an opposing team’s player to deliberately target SJSU’s Brooke Slusser with unobstructed spikes; Slusser has been vocal in her opposition to Fleming being on the team.
Head Coach Todd Hess has also filed a Title IX complaint against Batie-Smoose for using male pronouns when talking about Fleming. The idea that it is a violation of Title IX to call a biological male “he or him” is a direct result of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris unilaterally rewriting the meaning of Title IX.
In its suspension notice, the school ordered Batie-Smoose not to talk to the media. Fat chance. The coach told Outkick this is another attempt to silence dissent. “I want to make sure I’m standing strong that only women should be in women’s sports,” she said.
On the Stream Menu
As a media outlet, today is our Super Bowl. While we at The Stream know you have plenty of options for election coverage — including every major news network, syndicated wire services, and social media feeds from people both known and not, expert or otherwise — we’re still going to seek to do what we can to add value to the conversation as it unfolds over the next few days and weeks.
Here’s a sneak peek at our plans:
- Throughout the rest of the week, we’ll be posting updates on our social media pages. Follow us there at @streamdotorg on X and thestream.org on Facebook.
- Tonight, we’ll be following a few key races closely: the presidential results (obviously), senate races in a few key states, and nine ballot initiatives (mostly concerning pro-life measures) in eight states. Today’s edition of Al’s Afternoon Tea will deal with the last-minute goings-on before the polls close. We’ll keep a post stuck to the top of our website as events unfold Tonight and tomorrow, which we’ll update every few hours — so be sure to keep hitting that “refresh” button!
- Early next week: As America tries to untangle the havoc electronic voting machines have wreaked, John Zmirak will be interviewing four election integrity watchdogs about voter fraud and current events. Starting Thursday, we’ll have a new post stuck to the top of our page detailing every instance of voter fraud, manipulation, and intimidation that we find out about. The stakes have never been higher than they are right now, and we want to keep receipts!
In the meantime, we’ve also posted the final prayer guide in a 21-day series: “Contending for Breakthrough: Pray for God’s Will to be Done.” Amen and Amen.
Plus, Peter Wolfgang tells us about a young man from his neighborhood who is still facing hard time for entering the Capitol on J6: “Free Ricky, Vote Trump.”
