President Joe Biden is hosting a reception in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month on Wednesday evening.
Biden will deliver remarks in the East Room of the White House at 5 p.m. ET to honor the Latino community’s contributions to the United States. His speech comes after Vice President Kamala Harris spoke earlier in the day at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s Annual Leadership Conference.

Hispanic Heritage Month runs from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15. The president kicked off the month with a statement to X on Sunday.
“We honor and celebrate the achievements of Latinos who have pushed our great American experiment forward – to grow, prosper, and pursue its highest ideals – from those who recently arrived to those who have been here for generations,” he said.
