Kamala Harris has found herself at the center of controversy after Tuesday’s ABC News debate after some claimed that the earrings she wore on the debate stage resembled a bluetooth earpiece.

Germany-based company Icebach Sound Solutions has chimed in on the controversy, saying the "resemblance is striking" to the company’s Nova H1 Audio Earring, which go for $625 per pair.

Icebach Managing Director Malte Iverson told the tech outlet Tom’s Guide, "We do not know whether Mrs. Harris wore one of our products. The resemblance is striking and while our product was not specifically developed for the use at presidential debates, it is nonetheless suited for it."

"To ensure a level playing field for both candidates, we are currently developing a male version and will soon be able to offer it to the Trump campaign. The choice of color is a bit challenging though as orange does not go well with a lot of colors," Iverson added.

The company’s website stated as of Friday afternoon, "We’ve had a flood of interview requests since the debate. After careful deliberation, we’ve decided that Jimmy Fallon, a trusted Bavarian at heart, will get the exclusive."

According to the device’s Kickstarter page, the clip-on earpiece can "project sound from inside the pearl straight into your ear canal." The site added, "These Earrings are fully packed with the latest technology embedded in real pearls to provide you with music, phone calls and digital assistants all day long." Comments left on the page suggested that some people did not receive the product they paid for.

According to the New York Post, the earrings Harris wore were more likely a set of gold and pearl earrings from Tiffany & Co.
