Pennsylvania has registered more Republicans than Democrats for the 2024 cycles, causing Democrats major worries about keeping Pennsylvania in the blue column.
Per Just The News:
The state saw Republicans add 19,127 new voters to their rolls last month, compared to the 17,495 new voters for the Democratic Party, according to an Axios report.
Although Republicans outweighed Democrats in new voters last month, the Democratic Party has seen a surge in enthusiasm since Harris emerged as the party’s nominee.
Pennsylvania is considered a critical swing state this election cycle, but Democrats currently hold a roughly 400,000 voter advantage in the Keystone state overall. Democrats have a total of 3.9 million voters in the state, compared to 3.5 million for Republicans.
While the Democrats still have a tiny registration advantage, that number does not really help them if Democrat turnout ends up suffering in enthusiasm. And Republicans are 100 percent more energized than Democrats this year. That is why Democrats are desperately trying to fool voters into believing that Harris is running on “joy.”
If fewer Democrats are excited to vote, that will be a huge problem for Harris. And so far, it looks like trouble, indeed.
