Democratic U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) got some attention last week when she attacked the appearance of fellow lawmaker Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) during a tense back-and-forth on the House floor.

She was eager to make the most of her 15 seconds of fame by almost immediately launching a new T-shirt proudly repeating the “bleach blonde bad built butch body” slam she directed at Greene.

So we are going to drop “A Crockett Clapback Collection.” This collection will feature various swag that includes random things I’ve said. But it didn’t take long for people to notice there seemed to be a glaring error in the design, as Fox News reported:

Social media users mocked Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, for announcing she was selling T-shirts based on her mid-hearing feud with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., and appearing to have her own name misspelled on the image of the shirts.

Crockett’s critics swarmed a post on X, formerly Twitter, she shared Friday announcing the merchandise, which featured an image of the clothing emblazoned with an insult she hurled at Greene during their spat at a congressional hearing the previous evening.

Eagle-eyed X users pointed out that Crockett’s signature on the bottom of the shirt appeared to be misspelled.

Crockett, or Crockrtt, soon found her post inundated with comments denouncing the shirt and her hasty effort to cash in on her body-shaming rhetoric.

As for the exchange that led to the Texas Democrat’s ad hominem insults, she went on CNN to brazenly declare that she has “no regrets.”

According to the Daily Beast:

“I have no regrets, and I’ll tell you why,” Crockett said. “Marjorie Taylor Greene is the kind of person that if you give her an inch, she’ll take a mile. And the fact is that they continue to allow her to break the rules of decorum.”

Crockett continued: “So if I just sit there and say, ‘Oh well, Marjorie said it about me,’ what’s to stop her to continue to do it again and again? At the end of the day I was elected as a representative of Congress, but that doesn’t mean that I’m supposed to be somebody who’s a doormat.”

Yet Phillip continued to press Crockett on her response, pointing out that it could be interpreted as stooping to Greene’s level. “Michelle Obama famously said, ‘When they go low, we go high.’ Are those days basically over?”

Crockett dropped her sickest burn yet.

“I don’t know that we can even call this a low. I mean, she goes to hell, and then I do my best to remind her as to why she should not cross me.”
