Pro-Palestinian agitators and police clashed outside Chicago’s Israeli consulate on Tuesday as the Democratic National Convention was underway in nearby United Center. The agitators set an American flag outside the consulate and attacked journalist Ben Bergquam when he attempted to remove the flag from the flames.
One person with a microphone was heard telling the crowd as the flag burned on the ground, "This is what we think of your f*cking flag."
Lines of riot police and agitators were seen clashing outside the consulate.
Multiple arrests have been made as agitators attempted to make their way through the police line, Julio Rosas documented it for The Blaze. Arrests continued to be made throughout the evening.
Outside the Israeli consulate, protestors were heard shouting "Globalize the intifada." They were also heard chanting "It is right to rebel, DNC go to hell!"
