And Donald Trump shut down a Biden-Harris scheme to stop his campaign with one move. 

Donald Trump confirms his return to Butler

Former President Donald Trump was nearly assassinated during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13. 

He’s held no outdoor rallies since then. 

Rather than actually doing their job, the Secret Service warned him to stop conducting outdoor rallies outside of stadiums because of security concerns.

Trump revealed that he is planning on returning to Butler to hold a rally in October during an X Spaces conversation with X owner Elon Musk.

“We’re going back to Butler, and we’re gonna go back in October,” Trump said. “We’re all set up, and the people are fantastic. It’s a big – it’s a great area.”

The former President didn’t give an exact date for the upcoming Butler rally.

“These are incredible people, like the three that – in the case of Corey [Comperatore] killed and the other two – the families are, I got to know him a little bit. And families are great,” Trump continued. “But we’re going back to Butler. And I think I’ll probably start by saying, ‘as I was saying.'”

He told Musk that he was planning on talking about illegal immigration when he was shot, and that decision likely saved his life that day.

Trump went off script, turning to look at a slide on illegal immigration that he usually saves to the end of his speeches when the would-be assassin’s bullet struck his ear. 

“The bigger miracle was that I was looking in the exact direction of the shooter. And so it hit me at an angle that was far less destructive than any other angle,” Trump recalled. “So that was the miracle.… For those people that don’t believe in God – I think we gotta all start thinking about that.”

Trump needs to return to outdoor rallies

The Biden-Harris regime was restricting Trump’s ability to campaign after the Secret Service urged him not to hold outdoor rallies. 

He previously promised to return to outdoor rallies on his Truth Social platform, but the Butler announcement is proof positive they’re coming back. 

Trump’s strongest base of support is in rural areas where stadiums and arenas often aren’t available that can accommodate a crowd of that size. 

Forcing him to stay indoors would make certain areas completely off-limits to his campaign.

Trump has used fairgrounds, parks, airports, and other outdoor venues to put on rallies.

And holding them outdoors allows him to draw bigger crowds. 

Trump held an outdoor rally in Wildwood, New Jersey in May that drew nearly 100,000 people, which became the biggest political rally in the state’s history.

Not being able to hold them is election interference by the Biden-Harris administration. 

Rallies have been a staple of campaigning for Trump since he first came down the golden escalator in 2015. 

He’s going to need an aggressive schedule and the flexibility to go anywhere for the rest of the campaign to drive the turnout he needs to win.
