The White House slammed Rep. Cori Bush’s (D-MO) angry statements made Wednesday after losing her primary race to St. Louis County prosecutor Wesley Bell.

In an unhinged diatribe, the lawmaker lashed out against the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the top pro-Israel lobbying group in America, for supporting her opponent during the primary race.

“As much as I love my job, all they did was radicalize me, and now they should be afraid,” Bush raged.

"They’re about to see this other Cori,” she continued. “And let me say this: AIPAC, I’m coming to tear your kingdom down!”

Absent from the lawmaker’s tirade was any acceptance of responsibility for losing her race. The same has been true of how the activist media has been covering her loss, with reports blaming her defeat more on AIPAC and less on her mistake of fixating on Israel and the Palestinians instead of the needs of her constituents.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Wednesday responded to Bush’s comments during a press conference. She told reporters that President Joe Biden condemns her “divisive” and “inflammatory” rhetoric, especially after the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.

“Look, the president has always been very clear — and very recently, after the assassination attempt of the last president — about lowering rhetoric, right? Lowering political rhetoric and the importance of doing that,” Jean-Pierre said. “It is important — important that we be very mindful of what we say. This kind of rhetoric is inflammatory and divisive and incredibly unhelpful.”

Jean-Pierre added: “And so, it is important to be mindful in what we say and how we say it. But we cannot have this type of inflammatory, divisive language in our political discourse.”

Bush and other members of the “The Squad” have been suffering politically largely due to their far leftist policies and fixation on the Israel/Palestinian conflict. When it comes to the situation in the Middle East, Bush and her comrades are still out of touch with most Americans – even those who express a level of sympathy for the Palestinians. Several of these lawmakers have embraced outright antisemitic tropes in their attacks against Israel.

Just weeks after Hamas’ October 7 attack on Israel in which its operatives slaughtered Israeli civilians, Bush accused the Jewish State of “ethnic cleansing” in a post on X.

After Jamaal Bowman’s loss in New York, Bush’s defeat seems to be a sign that Americans are growing weary of the extremist rhetoric coming from the Democratic Party’s far-leftist faction. Perhaps it might motivate the remaining Squad members to start paying more attention to the concerns of their constituents.
