The cover-up of Harris’ border record is in full swing

One of the few tasks that President Joe Biden assigned Vice President Kamala Harris was to serve as his Border Czar.

She was appointed in early 2021 while the surge in illegal immigration was beginning after Biden opened the border.

But instead of securing the border, she fumbled around looking for the root causes of illegal immigration in Central America.

Harris has presided over the worst border crisis in the country’s history.

And illegal immigration has been a serious political vulnerability this election for Democrats. 

Now that she replaced Biden as the Democrats’ presumptive Presidential nominee, Democrats’ media allies are hitting Americans with an avalanche of lies about her role as Border Czar.

Self-proclaimed “journalists” are frantically rewriting history – in some cases, actively scrubbing their past reporting, which now contradicts their preferred manipulation of reality – to claim that she was never given that job.

Axios reporter Stef Kight rightly pointed out that Harris was the Border Czar in 2021, but now the outlet laughably claims the title was merely a Republican invention.

Democrats’ media allies, like Axios, claim that Harris’ only job was to solve the “root causes” of illegal immigration in Central America – not the U.S. – through diplomatic means.

But Harris’ work with the Northern Triangle of Central American countries El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras to snuff out those “root causes” of illegal immigration was obviously a gigantic failure as well.

“The Vice President has agreed – among the multiple other things that I have her leading, and I appreciate it – agreed to lead our diplomatic effort to work with those nations to accept returnees and enhance migration enforcement at their borders,” Biden said in March 2021 announcing Harris as Border Czar.

“Needless to say, the work will not be easy,” she said at the announcement. “But it is important work.”

Border Patrol official says Harris failed

Retired National Border Patrol Council president Brandon Judd rightly confirmed that Harris failed to solve the so-called “root causes” of illegal immigration.

“It’s very disappointing,” Judd told Fox News Digital. “We gave her the policies that she needed to implement. She refused to implement those.”

Judd said that Harris has no clue about what the real “root causes” of illegal immigration are.

“Nothing has changed from President Trump to this administration,” Judd said about Latin America. “Political instability was still there, the crime was still there, and the climate hasn’t changed from Trump to this administration, yet illegal immigration has exploded. … She has not addressed any of the root causes, and she refuses to recognize what the actual root causes are.”

He explained that illegal immigration is primarily driven by people seeking jobs in the United States.

Harris failed at solving the root causes and protecting the southern border, according to Judd. 

“If she would have dealt with what she identified, we would have less illegal immigration, but she didn’t even deal with those causes that she identified,” Judd stated.

Judd explained that the rank-and-file Border Patrol agents are exasperated over the Democrat Vice President’s failures.

“They’re very frustrated that she’s now the nominee because every one of us, all Border Patrol agents, understand and recognize that she had the power to do what was necessary to secure the border,” Judd remarked. “She didn’t do it.”

Illegal immigration is one of the biggest issues of the election, and Kamala Harris wants to hide her failed record from voters.
