Harris Promises to Shred the Second Amendment

Gateway Pundit warns us that at a campaign event, Vice President Kamala Harris

vowed to confiscate firearms through so-called “red flag” laws.

“We who believe in the freedom to live safe from gun violence will finally pass universal background checks, red flag laws, and an assault weapons ban!” Harris said to cheers.

There is no such thing as an “assault weapon.”

Harris Promises Free Sex Changes for Criminals in Prisons

She might not allow you to defend yourself against crime, but Harris is willing to stand up for invented “rights,” such as free sex-change surgery and pricey hormones for felons:

Trump Walks into Journalistic Trap, Rips It to Pieces

Donald Trump made an appearance yesterday with a group of black journalists, and forthrightly stuffed the identity-politics narrative down a biased reporter’s throat — to the delight of the mostly black crowd. Addressing the question of whether it’s bigoted to notice that Harris was chosen to be Joe Biden’s running mate — despite her dismal performance in the 2020 Democratic primaries — because of her sex and race, Trump upended the narrative:

What Really Happened to Trump?

What really transpired to allow the near-fatal shooting of Donald Trump a few weeks ago? The people currently running our government don’t want you to know, or even to ask. But a former Secret Service sniper keeps raising awkward questions:

Johnson Finally Takes Some Action on the Fake J6 Committee

Just the News reports:

The GOP-led House has quietly filed a rare intervention in Steve Bannon’s contempt of Congress case, arguing the Democrat-led House January 6 Select Committee failed in its formation to follow chamber rules – invalidating the two subpoenas it served Bannon that he ignored and ultimately put him behind bars.

The House brief argues the select committee was improperly constituted and that neither then-Democratic Speaker Nancy Pelosi nor the committee leadership followed the directives of House Resolution 503, which established the committee.

The Amicus Curiae brief filed by the House General Counsel nine days ago fulfills a promise from Speaker Mike Johnson in June to intervene in the case.

Bannon, a former Trump White House political adviser, refused to answer two subpoenas from the committee, citing executive privilege.

Maybe when Johnson got home to Louisiana, he got an earful from his constituents, after months of doing virtually nothing to free GOP political prisoners. However, this action won’t get Bannon out of jail, where he’s liable to spend the whole run-up to the 2024 election — just when America needs his voice the most.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) is forthright in his assessment of Johnson’s tenure so far as speaker:
