Vice President Kamala Harris is likely to announce her VP pick by Monday, with Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz among the top contenders. As @KatrinaSari reports, Walz helped kick off Democrats calling Donald Trump and other Republicans "weird" in campaign messaging. pic.twitter.com/IOvoA8gveu

"Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., jumped to Vance’s defense on the issue in recent campaign appearances. She and top Trump adviser Jason Miller have been traveling with Vance as he makes his way to rallies across the country.
"“I’m here today because of the nasty attacks on JD Vance claiming that he’s anti-woman,” Luna said at a rally in Nevada. “Can you believe that? This is, mind you, by the same party that can’t define what a woman is.”"

The Harris campaign held a Zoom "Women for Kamala" fundraiser event featuring Charlotte Clymer, who appeared in a heavily filtered image.

"Clymer was previously known as Charles Clymer, a male feminist activist who was kicked out of the movement after being accused of being abusive to women. Since then, he rebranded himself into a self-identified woman named Charlotte who advocates for abortion.
"In 2019, Clymer targeted me while working for the trans advocacy group, @HRC. While I was still in hospital suffering from a brain hemorrhage, he said in social media posts that I sought to be assaulted by Antifa."

The only people who think this is unusual in the least bit have no kids.
This is a story? Really? https://t.co/jY1jfcoO4O

Yes, you can call my face weird. It won't be the first or last time I've heard it. But my message is not to you.
My message is to anyone else who has been put down or called "weird" because of their experiences or who they are...

This is Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz's lieutenant governor. While wearing a shirt with a knife on it that says "protect trans kids," she said: "When our children tell us who they are, it is our job as grown-ups to listen and to believe them." pic.twitter.com/WNXjGRgjsm

"Seriously, Walz needs to sit this one out. The Tennessee Star reported, “Minnesota Taxpayer-Funded Pride Event to Be Hosted by Satanist Incest Pornographer.”
"Shall we sashay through some of the rest of the weirdos in the Democrat Party?
"Topping the list is Sam Brinton. ...

Gov. Tim Walz distances himself from the "weird" line of attack against Trump and his supporters after Anderson Cooper asks if it could backfire. "I didn't come up with it." pic.twitter.com/6uzmZeK0sb

"Now, let's take a step back and ask: who's really being weird here?
"Is it the trans person living their life and doing a sponsored post? Or is it the grown adults having public tantrums over marketing campaigns?

"Is it the store selling inclusive merchandise? Or is it the people treating a rainbow flag like it's radioactive?
"This is where the Democrats' new "weird" strategy becomes particularly potent. By labeling the GOP's behavior as "weird," they're not just throwing out a schoolyard insult. They're shining a spotlight on the truly bizarre nature of the Republican fixation on these issues."

From Ed: I'd say it depends on where you live. If you're in San Francisco or New York City, that argument could work, sure. But everywhere else outside the elitist-urban bubble, those things look pretty weird indeed. They're betting big that Drag Queen Story Hours are the new normal, and that the nuclear family is The New Weird.
And maybe they should pay attention to how all of that worked out for brands in their examples that have to sell to Middle America. Target and Anheuser-Busch had to backpedal on tuck clothing for children designed by a Satanist, and a scolding ad campaign to beer drinkers to get more woke. And they are still paying a price for attempting to impose their weird vision as the new normal in mass-marketed products.
Have a weird Wednesday night!
