Days after dropping out of the 2024 presidential race, Joe Biden has been spotted at a Cancun vacation resort, apparently forgetting that he’s still the current president until next January, sources confirm. 

“I thought it was a little weird that he was here chilling out,” said Javier Lopez, a front desk employee of the resort. “But my job is to ensure our guests have the vacation of a lifetime, not scrutinize them about their executive duties. Besides, a bunch of incoherent old white men come here to vacation, I wasn’t all the way certain it was him.”

Despite the apparent neglect of his responsibilities, some Democrats criticized the backlash against Biden’s inappropriate vacation. 

“How dare anyone say Biden needs to come back to Washington and finish the job,” said United States Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in an Instagram Live posted to her account at 3:30 AM last night. “It’s unrealistic to expect anything from any of these people, and anyone trying to hold a politician accountable just reveals how little they truly understand about the system. Let the man unwind a little, okay?”

As of press time, press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announced that Biden would serve the rest of his presidency from the resort, and claimed that anyone who had a problem with that was a fascist.
