One of the most amusing/infuriating/useful results of the sudden collapse of the "Biden is sharp as a tack" hoax is the scramble for cover we are witnessing. 

"Experts," politicians, bureaucrats, military leaders, journalists, and most amusingly, Anthony Fauci himself have all put their credibility on the line to promote the hoax, and in fewer than 90 minutes on CNN the entire conspiracy was revealed.

Americans were like Truman Burbank, suddenly waking up to the fact that the information environment in which they live is entirely fake. The elite have been the writers, directors, producers, and actors in the show--everything they do is designed to keep America in the dark. 

But in that 90 minutes, the hoax was exposed. The boat hit the wall, metaphorically speaking, and all was revealed. 

The elites are now scurrying, trying to save their own hides. It is glorious to see them all turning on each other--it's not my fault; it's HIS! We didn't KNOW! 

REALLY! WE DIDN'T!

In story after story people are spilling the beans on each other and in doing so, spilling the beans about their own participation in the largest and most consequential hoax in our lifetimes. 

Joe Biden isn't President of the United States. If the stories are to be believed, a few Jill Biden advisors, Jill Biden herself, and HUNTER BIDEN are the committee that run our country. 

Perhaps, perhaps not. With everything being a hoax it's hard to sort out fact from fiction. I believe this version of events, but I and others have been fooled. Perhaps it really is the Intelligence Community, who certainly have their fingerprints all over this script. 

What I do know is that when you read stories with paragraphs like this it is impossible to conclude that everybody of importance was not in on the scam:

Who was actually in charge? Nobody knew. But surely someone was in charge? And surely there must be a plan, since surely this situation could not endure? I heard these questions posed at cocktail parties on the coasts but also at MAGA rallies in Middle America. There emerged a comical overlap between the beliefs of the nation’s most elite liberal Biden supporters and the beliefs of the most rabid and conspiratorial supporters of former President Trump. Resistance or QAnon, they shared a grand theory of America in 2024: There has to be a secret group of high-level government leaders who control Biden and who will soon set into motion their plan to replace Biden as the Democratic presidential nominee. Nothing else made sense. They were in full agreement.

That's from Olivia Nuzzi of New York Magazine, who wrote an entire piece about how it has long been known in Democrat circles and the media that Joe Biden was no longer president. Everybody was in on it, but they kept on telling everybody it wasn't true. 

Nuzzi wrote of an event she attended earlier this year:

Exiting the room after the photo, the group of reporters — not instigated by me, I should note — made guesses about how dead he appeared to be, percentage wise. “Forty percent?” one of them asked.

Reporters who joked that the president was half-dead are now complaining about having been duped. 

Think about that for a moment. They are joking about Biden's senescence while writing and broadcasting stories that it was a "Right-wing conspiracy" backed by "cheap fakes." 

Now they are professing surprise. Their fallback position is: "I wasn't lying to you; I am simply stupid and incompetent."

Of course, that isn't remotely true. Or, perhaps, they ARE stupid and incompetent, but there is no question that they have been in on the hoax. They are liars as well as being stupid. 

Everybody knew that Biden's brain was pudding. They attacked anyone who stood up and said the obvious. They were active participants in the hoax. 

"Cheap fakes," they told us. "Sharp as a tack," they told us. Totally engaged. 

Blah, blah, blah. 

I could waste hours of your and my time showing videos of officials and journalists insisting that Biden is fine, Republicans are liars, that there is a Fox News/MAGA conspiracy to inflame doubts about Biden's mental capacities, but that isn't necessary. We all have seen it, including ordinary Democrats who have been living in that Truman show. 

Many Democrats, like CNN columnist Filipovic, are pretending they didn't know but also saying the quiet part out loud: they prefer a dead Biden to an Orange Man, which is why they have been lying, of course. They hate Trump, want power, and despise you. 

I got an email from a friend after the debate with a Mea Culpa--his eyes had been opened. He is a lifelong Democrat who hates Trump, but he also now sees that the mainstream media are a bunch of liars. What has been seen cannot be unseen. He apologized for thinking I was the brainwashed one. 

I don't know how many people have had their eyes opened, but it must be a considerable number of people. We need to give them alternatives, not just trash the MSM. Point them to The Free Press, Matt Taibbi, Townhall Media, Hot Air, and all the alternative media. We don't all agree, but we call it like we see it, and people are desperate for truth-tellers.
