President Biden couldn't remember whether or not he watched a replay of the presidential debate. That is what he told George Stephanopoulos in an interview that was supposed to calm the nerves of panicked Democrats.

Statements like that contributed to Biden's less-than-stellar performance during that short interview. Biden did not change any minds.
Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) is a true blue Biden loyalist. He is the one credited with Biden's win in 2020. Clyburn delivered South Carolina for Biden in the 2020 Democrat primary. Biden lost Iowa and New Hampshire that year so the South Carolina primary was crucial for Biden to gain traction.
Clyburn has remained loyal to Biden. He called Biden's horrible debate performance 'a bad night,' which is the White House's line. Clyburn went on many television interviews and made excuses for Biden.
Clyburn was scheduled to do his thing on CBS's Face the Nation today. Notice that he canceled his appearance just 22 minutes after the show promoted his appearance on Friday evening.
Clyburn was mentioned by Biden in the interview as one of the prominent Democrats who are telling him to stay in the race.
Congressman Clyburn's staff informed Face the Nation this afternoon he needed to cancel Sunday's interview. We look forward to hearing from the congressman again soon.

Well, that was awkward.

So, who did Face the Nation get to fill in the guest slot? Bernie Sanders.
Bernie Sanders gave his support to Biden. He did so by trashing former President Trump instead of strong praise for Biden. Sanders commented that Biden had spent more than any other president on climate change. Yeah, that issue isn't a top issue with voters this cycle, Bernie. Read the room.
Did Clyburn get a heads-up that Biden didn't do so great with George Stephanopoulos in that interview? The interview would have already been taped by that hour. Biden's people are leaking like sieves these days, now that they have all been exposed as complicit in the big lie that Biden is doing his job.
Whether that is the reason or not, it looks like Clyburn got cold feet and backed out at the last minute. Is one of Biden's most loyal supporters having second thoughts? He knew what the topic of conversation would be and it was all about whether or not Biden should remain in the race. It looks like he doesn't want to answer that right now, though he was willing to say yes after the debate. It was just a bad night, right?
President Biden loses more support each day. The debate was, allegedly, shocking to Democrats. They act like they had no idea Biden's health is rapidly failing. Big donors who see Biden up close and personal at fundraisers and members of Congress who work with Biden's White House claim they had no idea of his condition. Malarkey. They got caught in the cover-up.

A few Democrat members in the House have called for Biden to leave the race. So far, no Democrat in the Senate has done so. That may change after a meeting tomorrow.
Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) is coordinating a meeting with his colleagues set for Monday.
Warner is telling Democratic senators that Biden can no longer remain in the election in the wake of his faltering debate performance, according to the people familiar with private conversations who spoke on the condition of anonymity to speak freely. Warner has told others that he is deeply concerned that Biden is not able to run a campaign that could beat former president Donald Trump.
Warner spokeswoman Rachel Cohen would neither confirm nor deny that the senator thinks Biden needs to drop out of the race, instead issuing a statement that read, “Like many other people in Washington and across the country, Senator Warner believes these are critical days for the president’s campaign, and he has made that clear to the White House.”
When asked about this meeting with Senator Warner during the interview on Friday, Biden said Warner was only doing it because he ran for the nomination himself. Like it was sour grapes from Warner. Warner, however, has never run for the Democrat nomination for president.

This is a big problem for Democrats. He can't get basic questions right. Who knows what he is saying during important conversations with world leaders?
Biden puts Americans at great risk, both at home and abroad. He admits he needs more sleep and can't work past 8:00 p.m. His staff now come clean and say he isn't to be counted on to do his job outside the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. We need a full-time president. Biden may stay in the race. If so, he needs to be defeated in November. Times are too dangerous for America to have a feeble part-time president.
