It appears Black Hillary is already underperforming with Black voters – especially Black men in Georgia.
Yes, it is still early, but if the results in Georgia are any indication, former President Donald Trump will perform better with Black voters than he has in the past and Vice President Kamala Harris is in deep trouble.

Former White House Director of Strategic Communications Mercedes Schlapp had some interesting news during an appearance on Newsmax. The host mentioned that he received information from the Trump camp indicating that he has won about 25 percent of Black men in Georgia and asked Schlapp whether this would be a game changer.
Schlapp responded, noting that Black Americans make up 33 percent of the population in the Peach State. She also pointed out that “It seems that Kamala is behind six points with Black women” from where President Joe Biden was in 2020.

Black Americans will likely be pivotal in the outcome of the election, with many indicating that they plan to vote for Trump.

A recent poll showed that Harris is severely underperforming with Black voters – especially Black men.

A New York Times/Siena College poll conducted between September 29 and October 5 showed that while she will certainly win the majority of Black votes, she is falling far short of the amount President Joe Biden received in the 2020 election. Only about 78 percent of Black voters indicated that they plan to vote for Harris. This is a significant drop from Biden, who won 90 percent of the Black vote four years ago.
This already isn’t looking good for Harris.
But the numbers get even worse from there.
The poll also shows that 15 percent of Black voters plan to support former President Donald Trump at the ballot box. If this holds, it would represent a six-point increase from 2020.
If the polling holds, especially in key battleground states, Trump will win this election. Democrats have historically relied on winning at least 90 percent of the Black vote in past elections, and the demographic has been critical to their chances of winning.
If Trump manages to siphon off enough Black votes, it would not only signify a victory for the former president, but it would also show a massive repudiation of the Democratic Party with its most loyal voting base.
If this happens, it will not be surprising, given that Democrats have taken African Americans for granted for decades. Younger generations of Black folks do not necessarily have the same attachment to the Democratic Party that their parents and grandparents had, which could at least partially explain why so many are giving the GOP candidate a chance.

It is also worth looking at how Democrats courted Black voters during this election cycle. Instead of speaking to the issues that African Americans care most about, they tried to shame them into getting in line for the party. They even trotted out former President Barack Obama to call Black men sexist for being hesitant to support Harris.
If these numbers are any indication, these tactics did not work – as they shouldn’t.
