Vice President Kamala Harris has received criticism from conservative social media users following her rally in Houston, Texas, in which she was noticeably heckled and booed throughout the event.  Furthermore, reports indicate that many of the attendees were disgruntled by pop star Beyonce, who was allegedly paid $10 million to appear at the rally, for not delivering a performance to the crowd.

Some have described the stunt as a “bait and switch” that left many of the 30,000 people in the crowd angry.  As Harris attempted to speak to the red-state crowd, she was loudly booed and shouted down, and crowds of people could be seen leaving the arena, evidently disappointed with the tactics of the Kamala Harris campaign.

Addressing the exorbitant investment in Beyonce, one person wrote on X, “Imagine paying $10 mil to get booed at your own rally. It is being reported Beyoncé received an estimated $10mil to endorse & perform in Houston, Texas for Kamala Harris Beyoncé spoke for ONLY 3 minutes & DID NOT perform resulting in chaos of minutes of boos across the arena.”

Another user addressed the massive let down that occurred when the singer didn’t deliver a highly anticipated performance.  “The crowd at Kamala’s Houston rally last night came because they expected Beyonce to perform. They became angry and unruly when she spoke about Kamala for 3 minutes and then left without performing even 1 song. Hahaha,” one person said.

“Kamala’s entire campaign is based on false promises and blatant lies. Supporters seem to forget about the trickery at the DNC just a few months ago.  How can anyone trust a political party that literally replaces a candidate w/another and who didn’t a single vote?” another user said, voicing criticism toward Kamala Harris’ campaign.

“Kamala voters should probably take this as a sign of things to come, should she take the Oval Office, and see it for what it is: a signature move…a feel-good promise or hint of a promise on which she will never deliver,” they said.

Conservative commentator and provocateur, Alex Stein, shared footage from the rally, weighing in on what went down at the chaotic rally in which many were displeased with the vice president.  “30,000 People were mad as hell once Beyonce left the Kamala Rally without performing…total bait & switch operation,” Stein wrote.

He stated, “The Kamala Harris rally in Houston, Texas, was absolutely insane.  You saw Beyonce and Kelly Rowland walked out… and then after that, Camelot walks out, right? She gives him the hug, and everybody’s so mad because they’re like, What? Beyonce only spoke for three minutes. I thought, we’re gonna get a free concert. Wait, what? What’s going on? Wait, why is she hugging Kamala? I thought this was a concert. Oh, and then Kelly and Beyonce have a nice little moment, you know, reminiscing.”

Stein continued, “And then everybody realizes it was a baby switch, and they walk their butts out. As soon as Kamala got on that dang stage, everybody was pissed off, rightfully so. They duped us. they duped the entire city of Houston Texas 30,000 pissed off people right before an election, less than two weeks away. What is Kamala Harris, taking was a night to forget. I’ll tell you that much.”
