Kevin O’Leary knows bad marketing when he sees it.
He turned his keen eye to the Presidential election.
And Kevin O’Leary asked one scary question about Kamala Harris that terrified Democrats.
Kamala stumbles down the stretch
Vice President Kamala Harris tried to avoid talking about policy or laying out a vision for what she wanted to do in the White House during the Presidential race.
Her handlers tried to treat former President Donald Trump like the incumbent in the race and turn the entire race into a referendum on him.
The few policy proposals that she did release, like using Soviet-style price controls on grocery stores to keep price increases down or taxing unrealized capital gains, were panned by financial experts, the media, and even some Democrats.
Voters this election cycle didn’t have any idea what Kamala really believed after she flip-flopped on positions she took during her 2020 Presidential campaign, like banning fracking, decriminalizing illegal border crossings, and mass confiscation of guns.
And they didn’t have any idea what she planned to do in the White House.
Shark Tank star and O’Leary Ventures chairman Kevin O’Leary thought it was crazy that she finished out the Presidential race with so many unanswered questions about her agenda during an appearance on Fox News’ Jesse Watters Primetime.
“I’m still trying to figure out why she wants to raise taxes at 28%, why she wants to go after unrealized capital gains,” O’Leary said. “What about the $25,000 inflation idea for houses? That’s nuts.”
Kamala ignoring the issues Americans care most about to rant and rave about Trump left O’Leary on edge about what she planned to do in the White House.
“All of this policy stuff got lost in this crazy narrative, this circus going on right now,” O’Leary stated. “I’m telling you, as an investor, I’m getting freaked out here because there’s no information anymore. It’s just this crazy rhetoric going in the last days.”
Kamala passed on a key opportunity to close the sale
The world’s most influential podcast host, comedian Joe Rogan, invited Kamala on The Joe Rogan Experience after Trump made his long-awaited appearance on the show.
Rogan’s podcast generally generates about 15 million downloads per episode – the most of any podcast in existence – which gives him a bigger audience than every show on cable news combined.
Kamala’s handlers made unreasonable demands of Rogan – such as giving him little notice to cancel all his plans and fly across the country to interview her for less than a third of the time he usually spends talking with guests on his show – preventing an appearance from happening.
O’Leary thought that she missed an opportunity to go to Rogan’s podcast and close the sale with voters.
“I would think she should do the Rogan deal and start talking about what she really means,” O’Leary explained. “Price gouging on grocery stores at 3.5% margin? I mean, 88% of jobs in America come from companies, not the government. Am I the only guy that cares about this? This is nuts.”
It’s completely nuts,” O’Leary continued. “Please tell me what you want to do because I have no idea. I have no idea what you’re doing. No idea.”
Future Forward – the main super PAC supporting Kamala – released a memo that said Kamala needed to talk about issues to win over undecided voters at the end of the race.
Instead, she preached to the choir by ranting about Donald Trump.
