We are now one single day away from Election 2024. No biggie. Just the fate of the nation at stake.

And where was Kamala Harris this weekend? Making an appearance on Saturday Night Live. More on that in a second.

How Does the Race Stand on Election Eve?

As we enter Election Eve Day, we are still looking at a nailbiter. Not because Donald Trump hasn’t done all that is necessary to win, or that Kamala Harris hasn’t made a mess everywhere she’s gone, but because of the great unknown: Just how many illegal ballots have been and will be cast, collected, and counted? How many “glitches” will hamper Election Day voting? How deeply has election software and hardware been compromised? How far will the Deep State go to prevent a Donald Trump victory? Will those efforts be enough?

Polling at this point isn’t going to tell us much, other than that the race is very close and Harris is lagging behind where Biden was in 2020. NBC News’ final poll has the national race knotted at 49% each. Atlas Intel, which was the most accurate pollster in 2020, gives Trump the advantage in all the swing states.

However, the final New York Times/Sienna poll puts Harris in front in four of the seven swing states, but each within the margin of error. The NYT also admits that white Republicans are far more reluctant to talk to pollsters than white Democrats; ergo, the polls might again be underestimating Trump’s support. Or not. 

Rasmussen shows Harris has only a two-point lead in Virginia, and that was before Trump’s rally there on Saturday. Biden won Virginia by 10 points in 2020. If Virginia goes red, Harris will be in a world of hurt.

Looking at the numbers from early voting, Team Trump has to be feeling better than Team Harris. For example, in early voting in Nevada, Trump is up nearly 50,000 votes. Georgia saw heavy early voting in Republican strongholds, and not such a strong turnout in Democratic strongholds.

Wisconsin’s early results show GOP candidates are outperforming Democrats thus far in swing counties. 

Traditionally, Democrats dominate early voting and mail-in voting, with Republicans storming in on Election Day itself.

Kamala Harris Appears on SNL, Likely Violating FCC Rules

She couldn’t make time to sit down for a real conversation with Joe Rogan, but she could come off the campaign trail to yuck it up on SNL?

Harris’s appearance is a surprise because just last month, Executive Producer Lorne Michaels told Hollywood Reporter such an appearance would run afoul of the FCC.

You can’t bring the actual people who are running on because of election laws and the equal time provisions. You can’t have the main candidates without having all the candidates, and there are lots of minor candidates that are only on the ballot in, like, three states and that becomes really complicated.

Brendan Carr of the FCC called it a “clear and blatant effort” to skirt the Equal Time rule, which was created “to avoid exactly this type of biased and partisan conduct — a licensed broadcaster using the public airwaves to exert its influence for one candidate on the eve of an election.”

Talking Out Both Sides of Her Mouth About Israel and Palestinians

Maya Rudolph is an enormously gifted performer. Yet, even she can’t match Kamala Harris’s ability to talk out of both sides of her mouth.

Harris is running a strong pro-Israel campaign ad in Pennsylvania, while running a pro-Palestinian ad in Muslim-heavy Michigan.

The ads are a perfect example of Harris saying all things to all people, and why her talk doesn’t match her walk.

Take the pro-Israel ad. The logical question from Jewish and pro-Israel voters in Pennsylvania would be, “If you’re so high on Israel and Jewish people, why did you pass over our Jewish governor to be your running mate in order to appease Muslim voters?”

Take the pro-Palestinian ad. The logical question from Muslim and Arab-American voters in Michigan would be, “If you’re so pro-peace in the Middle East, why are you running around with Dick and Liz Cheney?”

The Liz Cheney Lie

Speaking of which, Kamala Harris and her media lemmings whipped up another false story late last week. They turned a clip of Donald Trump talking about how Liz Cheney is happy to send soldiers into the line of fire while she stays safely tucked away at home into the charge that Trump wants Cheney to be shot in the face.

What’s the First Law of Snake News? “Any story about Trump that has the media hyperventilating will be proven false, usually within 24 hours.” And so it was with this one.

But here’s what makes Harris’s response so indicative of just how bad a candidate she is.

Just four days before the election, Harris spent a full day praising Liz Cheney — calling her a “true patriot” — when she’s tied with Trump in Muslim-heavy Michigan. At the same time, Trump was campaigning in Dearborn, Michigan, which has a huge Arab-American population. He’s promising them peace in Middle East while Harris is promoting the family that helped kill hundreds of thousands of their fellow countrymen.

By peddling the Liz Cheney lie, Harris may well have thrown away Michigan.

Cheney repeated the lie as well, which only managed to tick off military veterans:

Speaking of our military personnel …

Disturbing Report: Pentagon Not Getting Enough Absentee Ballots to Our Troops

Republicans in Congress are demanding answers from Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin amid complaints from military personnel overseas that they haven’t been getting their absentee ballots.

“Our nation’s brave men and women in uniform brought to our attention that there has been inadequate education at the administrative level on how to register to vote, request an absentee ballot, and fill in a federal write-in absentee ballot if their state-issued ballot does not arrive in time,” the letter reads. “Other service members also stated that when a request for a federal write-in absentee ballot was made, they were told the base’s stockpile of such ballots was depleted and had not been replenished.”

While we hope these issues have already been addressed, do we put it past the Biden-Harris camp to attempt to suppress the military vote?

Joe Really Wants Trump to Win: Says Republicans Are “Kind of Guys You’d Like to Smack in the ***”

Somehow Joe Biden escaped the grasp of Kamala Harris’s people long enough to appear in public again, and sure enough, he offered up another gem that helps Trump. At an appearance in Pennsylvania, Biden declared that Trump and Republicans are “the kind of guys you’d like to smack in the ***!”

Once again, Biden is demonstrating violent rhetoric against Trump. And look at the rage on his face. But the remark is baffling. What guys smack each other on the rear? Football players and coaches might do it as encouragement, but other guys??

We can’t totally dismiss the homoerotic imagery, especially with Biden’s comment coming on the heels of Tim Walz bizarrely referring to Elon Musk as “that gay guy,” which can only be interpreted as using “gay” as a slur. How will that play with his base?

A Closing Message

While Kamala Harris’s closing message to America is that Donald Trump is unstable and only out for unchecked personal power, Donald Trump’s final message comes from an unlikely source.

When the 2024 campaign began, entrepreneur Nicole Shanahan was a California liberal who had about as much use for Donald Trump and MAGA as a bear needs a fur coat at Christmas. However, after becoming Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s running mate, witnessing firsthand the lawfare and lies thrown at them, then getting to know what MAGA was really about, Shanahan saw the light.
