In a result that surprised no one, Kamala Harris defeated Donald Trump in the deep-blue state of California in the presidential election.
The win garnered her a whopping 54 electoral votes as she garnered a sizable lead. Her margin as of this writing is 59 percent to Trump’s 39 percent.

The Los Angeles Times couldn’t resist throwing a little snark at Trump:
The presidential race has been called in more than 30 states in an election that will make history either way by sending either the first woman or the first convicted felon to the White House.
Pundits barely waited for the polls to close before they called the race:

Harris has a long history in the Golden State, holding the job of Attorney General from 2011 to 2017 before winning a Senate seat in 2017. The fact that she helped lead the decline of the state yet was still able to win it shows you how leftist California has become.
Although there has been much good news for conservatives tonight, unfortunately, the odious Adam Schiff (D-CA) defeated Steve Garvey for Senate.
Democratic Rep. Adam B. Schiff of Burbank, who rose to national prominence as a key antagonist of former President Trump, easily beat Republican and former Dodgers All-Star Steve Garvey on Tuesday night to win California’s open seat in the U.S. Senate.
The Associated Press declared Schiff, 64, the winner shortly after polls closed, an indication of the congressman’s substantial support in a state where Democratic voters outnumber Republicans by nearly a two-to-one margin.

With Donald Trump looking like he’s going to return to the White House, we’ll see how fast Schiff tries to impeach him again.
