President Joe Biden was critical of GOP nominee Donald Trump on Saturday, calling him someone "you'd like to smack in the a**."
Biden was speaking to some members of a carpenter union in his hometown of Scranton, Pennsylvania, when he made the comment in an attempt to slam the former president, per the New York Post.
“I know some of you guys are tempted to think he’s this macho guy,” he said, referring to Trump. “But I’m serious, these are the kind of guys you’d like to smack in the a**," Biden said with an odd grin.
The remark from Biden came as he was doing a campaign event for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in Pennsylvania. He told the attendees that the “stakes couldn’t be higher. I come here today to talk about what’s at stake for all of us.”
During the speech, he was joined for a few moments with his granddaughter Natalie, the daughter of the president’s deceased son Beau Biden — Biden said that Trump and the GOP are wanting to repeal Obamacare as well as the CHIPS Act.
The odd remark from the president comes after there was another just a few days ago, when Biden said that Trump supporters are “garbage.” He made the comment after comedian Tony Hinchcliffe made a joke about the amount of garbage in Puerto Rico.
The White House attempted to alter a portion of the transcript to change the meaning to only refer to Hinchliffe, however, most could plainly see that Biden was talking about Trump supporters and not just Hinchliffe.
