So now we know.
Imane Khelif, the controversial Algerian boxer who won gold at the Paris Olympics fighting against women, IS a biological man.
Some of us will be less surprised by this bombshell revelation, in a leaked medical report to French media, than others.
If something walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and fights like a duck, it’s probably a duck.
Anyone who watched the sickening, heart-rending farce of Khelif beating up on Italy’s Angela Carini back in August knew we weren’t watching a woman.
And so did Carini, which is why she quit the bout after just 40 seconds, and later wept in front of the cameras as she revealed that she’d never been hit that hard and was in such pain from Khelif’s fists that she feared for her life if she had carried on.
The crowd knew it too, because they booed.
And the International Boxing Association knew it, because they banned Khelif from competing in the last Women’s World Championships for failing tests to meet the “eligibility criteria” for participating in women’s competition.
IBA president Umar Kremlev said it had “been proven” that Khelif has XY male chromosomes, unlike women, who have XX chromosomes.
This gave a grotesquely unfair advantage, hence the ban.
Yet the International Olympic Committee (IOC) ignored the findings, allowing Khelif to compete against women in Paris, and Khelif duly demolished actual women to win the gold medal.
At the time, people like me, JK Rowling, Elon Musk and Martina Navratilova called this out as a total disgrace.
Predictably, we were all instantly branded transphobic, and horribly abused by the trans lobby for daring to suggest Khelif was anything but a natural-born woman.
But today, we know he’s not, and we were right.
A shocking medical report about Khelif, drafted in 2023 between hospitals in France and Algeria, was leaked to a French journalist and confirms the boxer has a disorder of sexual development, which means he has male chromosomes and some male sexual organs, including internal testicles and a “micropenis” — but no female uterus.
The report concluded that Khelif is impacted by something called 5-alpha reductase deficiency, a disorder only found in biological males.
This disorder becomes obvious at puberty, when the person experiences unusual male-like muscle and hair growth, and has no breast tissue development or menstruation.
To be fair to Khelif, many males born with 5-alpha may incorrectly believe they are female into adulthood unless they are properly tested. In other words, he may genuinely have thought he was a woman for much of his life.
But he isn’t.
And any confusion about Khelif’s biology was clarified by this report, a full year before the Paris Olympics.
And the IOC knew it.
So why did it still permit Khelif to compete against, and beat — in every sense — women?
The answer is cowardice.
It was terrified of offending the woke mob, who viciously mobilize against anyone who dares to stand up to this transgender athlete nonsense.
Indeed, such was its fear that the IOC hasn’t submitted athletes to chromosomal testing since 1999 and its only requirement for participation at the Paris Olympics in women’s boxing was to have a female sex marker on legal documents.
In other words, you just say you’re a woman on a form and bingo, you’re fighting against women — even if, like Khelif, you’re a man.
Marshi Smith, co-founder of the Independent Council on Women’s Sport, told the gender-critical website Reduxx after this stunning new report was published: “The IOC and the Algerian Olympic Committee are complicit in endorsing male violence against women under the guise of public entertainment on the world’s largest sports stage. They stood by as women were subjected to physical assault for spectacle, stripped of safety, fairness, and their lifetime achievements. All those involved must face swift and serious consequences.”
She’s right — but don’t hold your breath.
The one thing that never happens in this debate is accountability, despite the mounting evidence that it’s rapidly destroying the integrity of women’s sports.
The United Nations recently revealed that a staggering 900 medals have been robbed from women by trans athletes around the world, in 29 different sports.
This is a disgusting, systematic global abuse of women’s rights.
As I’ve written many times, there is a reason we keep the sexes apart in the Olympics.
It’s because men have a superior biology to women and if we didn’t, then women would barely win a single medal.
To pretend otherwise is either delusion or deliberate dishonesty.
In boxing, separating the sexes is even more important because lives may be at stake.
Kamala Harris has no problem with any of this, which makes a mockery of her claim to be the only presidential candidate who stands up for women’s rights.
In fact, it’s Donald Trump who got it right when he said all trans women athletes should be banned from competing in women’s sports.
He’s no more transphobic than I am; we just know it’s unfair and unequal and that if it isn’t stopped, a woman is going to die at the altar of this virtue-signaling bulls–t.
And the fact the IOC leadership appears happy to worship at this altar too is as lamentable as it is shameful.
If a woman does die, it’s on the IOC.
