Happy Wednesday!
With six days to go until the election, we may need to order some straitjackets to go with our Brew because the media is losing its collective mind.
How Far Gone Are They?
The passengers on The Titanic didn’t panic after hitting an iceberg the way the media is panicking over this election. Let’s run through a couple of examples.
MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace: This Election Is “Literally” a Matter of “Life and Death for Every Women”
MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace declared that in this election, “the stakes literally are life and death for every women in America.”
That might be true if Kamala Harris is elected and blows up the world, but that wouldn’t only affect women.
Wallace literally used the word “literally,” going on to say, “it’s not hyperbole, it’s not an exaggeration.”
Yes. If Donald Trump is elected, a farmer’s wife in Iowa will be toast. Justice Sonia Sotomayor? Zapped like a Marvel superhero in Avengers: Infinity War. The WNBA? Next season won’t ever arrive because every player will be dead.
If Wallace actually believed her own words, she’d already be applying for refugee status in Canada.
Meanwhile, Michelle Obama was also pushing this idea that all women will suffer if Trump is elected. She said the other night that men who vote for Trump are, in effect, abusing the women in their lives. I wonder what Laken Riley would say about the idea that Donald Trump is the real threat to American women’s wellbeing?
CNN Bans Commentator Who Criticized Islamist During Panel Discussion
There was some hysterical stuff on CNN Monday night (meaning in the sense of “hysteria,” not something that’s funny). During a panel discussion, talking head Mehdi Hasan, who has a history of radical Islamist behavior, called fellow panelist Ryan Girdusky a Nazi. This came after CNN had spent the whole day calling Trump supporters Nazis.
Girdusky retorted, “I hope your beeper doesn’t go off” — a smart-alec quip referencing the booby-trapped pagers Israel recently used to decimate Hezbollah members in Lebanon.
What did CNN do? Apologized to the guy who called people Nazis, and then banned the guy who responded with a quip in kind.

How Biased Is Network News Coverage of the Candidates?
During this campaign, Trump has been scoring PR coup after PR coup, offering concrete solutions to problems real Americans are facing. Meanwhile, Kamala Harris has been fumbling and bumbling and stumbling every time she opens her mouth, as has her running mate.
And yet, according to new data from the Media Research Center, the network news coverage has been 85% negative toward Trump and 78% positive toward Harris. MRC calls it “the most biased coverage in history.”
And somehow Harris is still losing the race so far?
How Long Before the Media Calls Jeff Bezos a Nazi?
Jeff Bezos is not a stupid man. You don’t become one of the richest men in the world if you don’t have serious brain cells inside your shiny noggin. But Bezos has been watching the relevance of his Washington Post and other old-school news outlets fade, their credibility sinking far below that of used car salesmen. The public’s trust in these legacy institutions is shot.
So Bezos decided to change course, starting by declaring the WaPo would not endorse any presidential candidate this year. Boy, did his editorial staff and liberal readers have a cow over that! Some 200,000 people canceled their digital subscriptions, and several top staffers quit.
Bezos explained his decision in an editorial.
It would be easy to blame others for our long and continuing fall in credibility (and, therefore, decline in impact), but a victim mentality will not help. Complaining is not a strategy. We must work harder to control what we can control to increase our credibility.
Bezo noted that papers like the Washington Post and New York Times are increasingly only talking to a certain elite (leftist) group, and so he is promising to change that.
Now more than ever the world needs a credible, trusted, independent voice, and where better for that voice to originate than the capital city of the most important country in the world?
Yes, it’s a Hail Mary for the newspaper. But then again, if the Washington Commanders could pull it off, who knows what the Post might be able to do?
What’s Going on in Pennsylvania?
The other day, Democratic Senator John Fetterman remarked on the “astonishing” level of passionate support Trump has in Pennsylvania. And as Elon Musk was celebrating, the early vote count shows Republicans have increased their early vote count by 400,000 over where it stood at this point in 2020, in a state ultimately decided that year by 80,000 votes. Registration guru Scott Presler has been flipping blue counties red like pancakes at IHOP.
Early votes in Pennsylvania now show Republicans doing 435k better than Democrats vs the same date in 2020. Biden’s margin of victory was only 80k in 2020.

However, some crooked business is afoot in the Keystone State. As The Federalist reports, four Pennsylvania counties are now investigating large-scale illegal ballot-harvesting operations: “At least four Pennsylvania county election offices — Lancaster, York, Monroe, and Cambria — are setting aside suspicious and possibly fraudulent voter registration and mail-in ballot requests.”
A Lancaster County woman was caught creating thousands of fake voter registrations. The district attorney there, Heather Adams, announced last week that about 60% of voter registrations collected in the previous days were fake. “At this point, it is believed that the fraudulent voter registrations are connected to a large-scale canvassing operation … that dates back to June,” she said.
A similar scam has been unfolding in Luzerne County.

Meanwhile, in Delaware County, GOP state committeewoman Val Biancaniello was actually arrested for encouraging poll-goers to stay in line and vote after local election officials told them to leave the precinct. The officials said the voting machines were acting up, so they were shutting voting down early. GOP National Chairman Michael Whatley called foul on that. “Local election officials actively turned away voters in a direct attack on their right to a safe and secure election,” he said.
A supporter of President Trump's was arrested today for encouraging people to stay in the early voting line and cast their ballots freely in Pennsylvania.

According to Whatley, there are reports across the commonwealth of voters being turned away in conservative areas.
The following happened in Bucks County on Tuesday:

Not only that, but people pretending to be election officials are intimidating voters, according to Trump campaign political director James Blair.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk is reporting on rumors that Harris is shifting the money to Virginia. Less than a week from the election, she’s worried about losing Virginia?
Meanwhile, have you noticed how we keep talking about New Jersey? Take a look at the early vote count thus far there. The GOP is up by over 4,500 votes.

Man Who Uses Female Pronouns Busted for Threatening to Kill Trump at Penn State
A 74-year-old Pennsylvania man who uses female pronouns has been charged with threatening to assassinate Donald Trump before the former president’s recent appearance at Penn State University.
Paul J. Gavenonis, who bears a bit of a resemblance to former First Lady Barbara Bush, was overheard saying, “I hate Donald Trump. I’d like to shoot that guy” while trying to get a parking pass at the university last Friday. A staffer alerted authorities, worried that a pass could put Gavenonis close to the Trump event. Gavenonis reportedly confirmed to police his wish to see Trump killed.
