President Trump is an epic troll; there’s not getting around it.  He has called in to live shows, and he’ll ROAST his opponents if they dare mock or insult him on the campaign trail.

But what I just witnessed during a Town Hall… was truly epic; trolling at its finest!  And the best part is we get a bonus (untold story!) about the first time that President Trump really got to meet Vance’s wife!  Watch this!

It’s one thing to troll your way into your VP pick’s Town Hall with Chris Cuomo; it is quite another thing to come away smelling like a rose for doing so, with a heartwarming story that befits the “regular guy” persona that President Trump reportedly has in person.

According to the Washington Examiner, there was a lot of laughter in the audience when President Trump asked his question.

Trump called into a NewsNation town hall with his running mate, Vance, and tested him on the spot.

He asked him: “How brilliant is Donald J. Trump?” The question elicited laughter from Vance and some of the audience.

Vance first joked that the town hall was for undecided voters, which Trump is seemingly not. Then he said, “First of all sir, you’re very brilliant, and we both agree that it’s important to have very smart people running our government.”

Trump also joked about Harris during his phone call, asking his running mate, “How brilliant is Kamala?” leading to laughter from Vance.

President Trump actually got in a second question as well.  “How brilliant is Kamala?”  And the crowd loved that even more!  Here’s that clip:

The Hill covered the Town Hall event and included both questions in their reporting.

Former President Trump called into the town hall to ask a few questions of his own.

Trump drew laughs from Vance and the audience when he asked his running mate “how brilliant is Donald J. Trump?”

“First of all sir, this is supposed to be undecided voters. I would hope that I have your vote of all people,” Vance said, adding that Trump is “very brilliant.”

Vance went onto recount a conversation between his wife Usha and Trump, in which Trump asked her what she thought about her husband working in public service.

“She gives, if you know my wife, a very diplomatic answer,” Vance said. “‘Sir, he really cares about the people of Ohio. He’s thrilled to be able to serve them and I’m happy to support him however I can,’ and President Trump chuckles and says ‘yeah, my wife hates it too.”

Trump went on how to ask Vance “how brilliant is Kamala Harris?”

“That’s a very tough one, sir,” Vance said, laughing.

The former president wrapped his call in, saying Vance is doing a “fantastic job.”

I get the feeling President Trump is trying to keep his eye on the ball, and not lose focus, while simultaneously starting to feel the shift in momentum as he nears the finish line.  We’re not there, yet.  Steady as she goes, Mr. President!
