During a recent incident, Trump supporters voiced their disdain for ABC News when they were covering a Trump rally.  Ever since the presidential debate in September, conservatives have blasted the network for its apparent bias when it incessantly fact-checked former President Donald Trump while refusing to hold Kamala Harris to the same standard.

Footage from the recent Trump campaign event shows supporters of the Republican presidential candidate shouting at ABC News correspondents, appearing to force them out of the event with overt hostility.  The crowd cheered as the cameraman and correspondent with the network packed up their gear and walked out of the event.

Users on social media reacted to the incident calling out the mainstream media for its negative rhetoric toward former President Trump. “Good riddance @abcnews. We all know that they are there to take all of Trump’s words out of context and only show us sound bites anyways. Who needs them. I hope their ratings are tanking,” one user said

Others reacted with glee as the network has faced backlash for its apparent left-leaning bias against conservatives.  “That’s what happens when you try to shame trump and only fact check him differently than Harris ..would did ABC think was gonna happen ,these are real patriotic Americans who are watching millions of illegals come in to cities and towns,” they wrote.

“Yep, pretty sure people are fed up with their bs. They were just there to sow more discontent. They can go pound sand. That needs to be the reaction everywhere they try to set up,” another person wrote, expressing their distrust with the mainstream media.

Another person said,”I’m sure ABC will spin this into a violent attack on reporters. I’m not sure the yelling and all was necessary. Even though the reporter and camera man prob had nothing to do with the debate and ABC should be shut down, they were just there to do a job the boss sent them to do.”

“One of Trumps biggest accomplishments, exposing Main Stream Media as Oligarchy Owned Government Propaganda. Can’t put the Cat back in the Bag, so they’ll try to eat it,” they wrote.  “People are ged up with the media, the democrats, their hate and vitriol, and their non stop incessant lies,” another person said.

The American Tribune recently reported on comments from Trump, who slammed the network for its bias against him during the controversial presidential debate.  “It is a totally false story that I am going to sue lightweight anchor David Muir of ABC FAKE NEWS, perhaps the worst and most dishonorable network in broadcasting!”  The former president added,  “Despite an unfair and unethical 3 on 1, I easily won the recent Debate. My sole focus is to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

He continued, “And during the debate, I mentioned that and David Muir, a real lightweight.  I had one against three, but I think we did great. But David Muir of ABC, fake news, when I said that crime is way up in our country, he corrected me, he corrected me and so much and it was right what I said.”

“He didn’t correct [Vice President Kamala Harris] one time, and what she said was wrong, absolutely wrong,” Trump added. “So many different— Charlottesville, she was wrong, all of the different things, almost everything she said, and she was never corrected. But he corrected me on crime. He said, ‘No, no, crime has not gone up.’ I said crime has gone up massively. He said, ‘I’d like to state for the record that crime has not gone up.’”
