Eric Trump took executive charge of the Trump Organization when his father entered the White House in 2017.

But that hasn’t kept the former President’s son off the campaign trail.

And Eric Trump described the America First movement with two words that caught Jesse Waters by surprise.

Eric and Donald Trump Jr. have always been heavily involved in their father’s Presidential campaigns.

Melania Trump recently described her husband as a family man who cares deeply about his wife and children.

But former President Donald Trump has faced two assassination attempts during this campaign, and it’s been tough for his children to watch.

After he took a bullet in Butler, Pennsylvania, Eric described the moment he and his wife, Republican National Committee Co-Chair Lara Trump, first heard the shots ring out that day.

He said he was sitting with his four-year-old daughter in his lap with his wife Lara and their six-year-old daughter next to them.

“That affects you,” he said. “It certainly affects you,” he continued. “You, you can be as numb to a lot of things as you want, but that’s, that’s one of those things that you certainly don’t want your grandkids to see at such an innocent age.”

Eric said he considers his father to be his “best friend” and admitted that these “are scary times.”

But Donald Trump traveled back to Butler last weekend to hold a rally in the same place where he took a bullet to the ear on July 13.

Tesla and SpaceX founder Elon Musk attended the rally and spoke to the crowd of more than 100,000 Trump supporters.

Eric Trump also attended the rally on Saturday in Butler.

On Sunday, he appeared for an interview with Fox News’ Jesse Watters to talk about the Butler rally and the large crowd. 

Watters asked Eric to describe what the emotion was like on Saturday given what happened there in July.

“Jesse, it was incredible,” Eric replied.  “I’ve never been more proud of my father in my entire life.” 

Eric described the scene as “a beautiful, beautiful moment,” with “people as far as I could see.”

“There were at least 100,000 people there,” he added.

Eric praised the character and quality of his father’s supporters and described them as “extremely smart people and amazing people, the people that love this country, love our nation, see we are falling behind in absolutely everything we do, and it’s infuriating to all of them.”

He then described the America First movement with two words that caught Jesse Watters by surprise.

For the past few years, Democrats, Never-Trumpers, and their media allies have pushed the phony narrative that Donald Trump and his supporters are “violent extremists” who represent a “threat to democracy.”

But Eric shot down this false narrative.

“It’s not a political movement,” he said, before adding that this is a movement of “total love.”

Eric explained how his father’s supporters know he will take every “literal and figurative bullet for them.”

He told Watters that his father is “not a politician in their eyes and that is why they adore him and that’s why they came out in record numbers and that is why you had the emotion in the crowd that you had on that night, I mean he almost lost his life, you know, some good man almost took him from all of them and all of us.”

Donald Trump supporters are not the violent and evil monsters Democrats and their media allies make them out to be.

As Eric Trump pointed out, they are simply patriotic Americans who love their country and are concerned about its future.
