Fani Willis’ case against Donald Trump is in shambles amidst her many scandals.

Now she was handed her biggest setback yet.

And Alina Habba uttered four words that sent Fani Willis into a fit of rage.

Fani Willis’ witch hunt against Trump suffers another major setback

Fulton County Democrat District Attorney Fani Willis came into the year with high hopes of a trial beginning against former President Donald Trump and his allies for challenging the results of the 2020 Election in Georgia.

But her witch hunt against the former President is on thin ice because of her own scandalous behavior and prosecutorial misconduct.

Willis hired her lover, Nathan Wade, to serve as a special prosecutor in the Trump case, paying more than $600,000 in taxpayer money – significantly more than others in similar positions – despite the fact that he had no experience whatsoever in the case law at hand and had never tried any case above a misdemeanor.

Furthermore, bank records exposed during Wade’s ongoing divorce proceedings from a different woman revealed that he then used much of the hundreds of thousands of dollars in taxpayer funds Willis funneled to him to take the couple on luxury vacations and also cover other expenses for them.

This affair was a secret until Trump co-defendant Michael Roman’s attorney exposed the relationship and the kickback scheme they were running for personal profit.

Judge Scott McAfee admonished Willis’ conduct and essentially accused her of lying, but didn’t disqualify her from the case.

He did, however, leave the door open for an appeal of his disqualification decision.

The Georgia Court of Appeals agreed to hear an appeal that would begin oral arguments in early October and paused Willis’ case until then.

And the court would have until March 2025 to issue a ruling on disqualification, and the parties would have a chance to appeal that ruling to the Georgia Supreme Court.

The Fulton County case had no chance of going to trial before the election, and now, it’s possible that it might not ever happen.

Willis hoped to begin the trial in August to keep Trump tied down at the peak of the campaign season.

Habba takes a victory lap over Willis

Trump Attorney Alina Habba appeared on Newsmax in the aftermath of the Georgia Court of Appeal’s decision to pause Willis’ case.

“She’s fallen on her fanny since the very beginning,” Habba said. 

Habba joked that Democrats’ media allies had their headline for tomorrow.

“This has completely been a disaster,” Habba continued. “It was a fake case to start with. Her arrogance, her demeanor, has been incredibly telling.”

Habba pointed out that Willis’ office had been coordinating with the Biden regime to try to take down Trump.

“Well, she just took herself down in the most public display of chaos and disgrace,” Habba said.

The Trump attorney predicted that the pause in the case would ensure it wouldn’t go to trial by November.

This could be the beginning of Willis’ problems after the Georgia Court of Appeals handed her a crushing defeat.

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) is investigating her office’s potential misuse of a federal grant that was meant for an anti-gang program.

A whistleblower from the Fulton County Democrat District Attorney’s Office came forward alleging that a nearly $500,000 federal grant was used for laptop computers and other personal items.

The whistleblower was fired by Willis after she came forward.
