Dak Prescott didn’t approve of the media’s coverage regarding his “destroyed” mansion.

The longtime Cowboys quarterback had his mansion torn down to its studs earlier this week, as TMZ reported, but it was by design.

The star slinger is aiming for a modern home that is more in line with his vision and needs.

According to the outlet, the popular YouTube channel Dude Perfect helped with the destruction of the big home.

Prescott, though, appeared visibly annoyed with how the status of his home — which is worth a reported $3 million — was discussed in the media.

“I thought we were talking football,” Prescott said Thursday when asked about it.

He later noted that the house he had destroyed was not one he had built, which may indicate another reason for his decision.

He continued: “It’s crazy the coverage it got, just being frank. Trying to keep my personal life my personal life, build a home or a place or have a property that I’m about to raise a daughter and a family there, I truly don’t appreciate the drones, the extra videos and honestly, the conversation of it. I’m super-blessed to be able to at this point build what I want. So, enough said.”

Prescott was then hit with a follow-up question from Fort Worth Star-Telegram Cowboys beat reporter Nick Harris.

“The landscape is different from the last time you all played the Lions…” he began, to which Prescott looked peeved before unveiling a smile and a laugh.

Prescott reached over, seemingly giving Harris a pound off camera, and said, “I’m about to say… you testing me,” while smiling.

Prescott and the Cowboys, who defeated the Steelers in Pittsburgh on Sunday night, play the Lions at 4:25 p.m. ET this Sunday.
