In an interview with Tucker Carlson, Elon Musk explained why his mother switched from Republican to Democrat.

Musk said his mother lives in New York and has changed her party affiliation.

He said his mother’s friends have had the same experience.

“You know what will turn you from going to a Democrat to Republican pretty fast? Is getting punched in the face while you’re walking down the street,” Musk said.

“And then no action being taken against those who hurt you,” he added.

Musk’s mother, Maye Musk, has criticized public servants in New York City for its homelessness and filthy streets.

The number of homeless on the streets of the Big Apple rose by the highest number in more than a decade, according to the annual Homeless Outreach Population Estimate survey conducted in January.

The rise comes as the administration of Mayor Eric Adams pursues aggressive measures to tackle the problem, including enforcement, sweeps, and outreach initiatives.

In the interview, Musk suggested he would be imprisoned if President Trump does not win the 2024 election.

“I’m f*****,” Musk said.

“If he loses, I’m f*****,” he added.

“It does seem that way,” Carlson responded.

“I’m like, how long do you think my prison sentence is going to be? Do you think I will see my children? I don’t know,” Musk continued.

“And I’ve been trashing Kamala non-stop,” he added.
