The race for the White House is looking like another close election. 

Everything matters at the margins in a close race. 

And a Christian activist had one message for Kamala Harris that left her trembling in fear. 

A $60 million effort to mobilize Christian voters

This year, Christians are presented with a clear contrast on the ballot between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris.

The demographic is one of the most reliable for Republican candidates.

That’s why a massive effort is underway to mobilize Christian voters in swing states ahead of the Presidential election. 

The Faith and Freedom Coalition led by longtime conservative activist Ralph Reed has a more than $60 million effort underway targeting evangelical voters.

“We are seeing unprecedented enthusiasm and intensity among our volunteers and the voters of faith with whom they are interacting,” Reed said in a statement. 

The group is looking to raise $62 million this election after spending $50 million in the 2020 election.

“It is greater than we saw in 2016 or 2020. These voters are coming, and they are coming in historic numbers,” Reed continued. “That is more important than polls that replicate voter turnout numbers from past elections that may or may not apply in 2024.”

The plan to turn out evangelical voters in November

The Faith and Freedom Coalition plans to hire 5,000 paid staffers to go with its 5,000 volunteers in battleground states. 

A goal was set of reaching one million homes in the swing states weekly leading up to the election.

The group is hitting three million homes a week and plans an all-out blitz on Election Day to contact 10 million homes. 

Faith and Freedom Coalition also plans to send out 25 million get-out-the-vote texts. 

The group estimates that it can reach as many as 18 million people because some households have multiple targeted voters living at the address. 

“This election is effectively tied in every battleground state, and this kind of voter education and turnout operation could be the difference,” Reed said. “The premature reports of the inadequacy of the conservative ground game in 2024 are greatly exaggerated.”

Faith and Freedom Coalition is based in Georgia, which is one of the most hotly contested swing states this year. 

In total, 141 paid staffers and more than 600 volunteers have knocked on more than 280,000 doors in Georgia. 

Faith and Freedom Coalition is also distributing voter guides to churches. 

The group will hand out more than 30 million pieces of literature in 125,000 churches across the country. 

“Key to the 2024 effort is turning out 1 million recently registered Evangelical voters, as well as 7.8 million Evangelicals whom Faith & Freedom Coalition has identified as low-propensity voters,” Faith and Freedom Coalition’s website stated. 

Trump lost the 2020 election by about 44,000 votes spread between Arizona, Wisconsin, and Georgia. 

Turning out Christian voters this election could help put the former President over the top in another election that could come down to the wire in the swing states.
