Anthony Rizzo is no stranger to getting hit by a pitch, which is what made him jumping in pain and eventually leaving Saturday’s game a concern.

After taking the pitch from lefty Ryan Borucki flush on the hand, Rizzo was in immediate pain as he took a big leap out of the box and doubled over before taking first base.
There, he was paid a visit by manager Aaron Boone and a trainer, though he stayed in momentarily to make a force out at second base.
Then, in the top of the eighth, Oswaldo Cabrera moved from shortstop to first base to replace Rizzo, who was likely headed for X-rays on his hand.
Rizzo missed two and a half months earlier this season with a forearm fracture after a fall while running into a pitcher at first base.
