This Memorial Day, a parent who lost his son in the attack on the Kabul airport during the Biden administration’s disastrous exit from Afghanistan asks Biden and the rest of the country to remember and honor our dead soldiers.

Breitbart obtained a transcript from Darin Hoover Sr., the Gold Star father of Staff Sgt. Darin Taylor Hoover Jr., the victim of the Kabul airport attack, stated on “Rob Schmitt Tonight” that he had not received any explanations, answers, or regrets from Joe Biden. Indeed, when it comes to the disastrous pullout from Afghanistan, Biden would undoubtedly want everyone to suffer from dementia the same way he did. Darin Hoover Sr. will be grieving for his late son over Memorial Day weekend while other families enjoy a picnic and some downtime.

“Although it is a three-day weekend and everyone will be out celebrating the first weekend of this summer, I just ask that everyone take a moment to reflect on the brave men and women who have given their lives to defend our freedoms and remember them in whatever way they can,” Hoover said.

The distraught father further emphasized Joe Biden’s complete failure. He has not said anything to us. Afghanistan is now in the rearview mirror. Furthermore, none of us have received any communication from them; they have not contacted us at all. This is the ideal time to reexamine the situation and address the questions raised. The Biden administration’s betrayal of the US military and our allies in Afghanistan is something we must forget.

Hoover said, predictably and rightly, “We demand accountability.” We are not getting the answers we are looking for. This weekend, with the anniversary approaching as well, calls for some action. The nation has a right to those answers, so it is imperative that they take the initiative and implement the necessary measures to provide them to us.

For what purpose did thousands of military personnel fight and lose their lives in Afghanistan? Hoover stated, “He needs to step aside and depart the White House. “All of the veterans of that 20-year war deserve better than what we have gotten.” The Biden administration completely and ignominiously deceived the courageous men and women of our armed services. The extent of the abandonment of tens of thousands of Americans and Afghan friends in Afghanistan, leaving them vulnerable to capture and/or execution by the Taliban, has never been entirely apparent.

A suicide bomber murdered about 170 civilians in Afghanistan and 13 US service members, including Staff Sergeant Hoover, in 2021. Biden and his government refused to acknowledge the complete failure of the pullout from Afghanistan. Biden ruthlessly and repeatedly checked his watch during the ceremony that honored the victims in Kabul. Mark Schmitz, the father of Marine Lance Cpl. Jared Schmitz, who lost his life in Kabul, described Biden’s actions as “the most insulting thing I have ever witnessed.”

That is Joe Biden, though. He may meet with George Floyd’s family and lament over the drugged-out criminal, but he hates the courageous men and women who gave their lives to defend our country. Biden, as the United States head of state, is an absolute embarrassment.
