The Democrat’s campaign announced after Tuesday’s debate a desire for a second meetup with the GOP nominee before the November elections. The decision to request another debate was made before both candidates took the stage Tuesday night, according to a person familiar with the plan who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe internal deliberations.
Reuters also confirmed:
A spokesperson for Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris’ campaign said on Tuesday night that Harris and her Republican rival Donald Trump should do a second debate in October.
So, why is Kamala so gung-ho?
Why does she want to rush into a second debate with Trump?
My take is that she wants to control the set-up again.
She wants to pick the place, the moderators, and the rules.
She’s digging the 3-on-1 situation we saw tonight, and she wants a repeat.
She knows that she can’t win in a fair setup, one-on-one with Trump.
But, don’t just take it from me.
President Trump seems to think the same.
