Every once in a while they say the true part out loud.  But catching it on film — that’s a rare accomplishment.  If you don’t have pictures… did it really even happen?  Rarer still is when they don’t backpedal after you show them the photo evidence.

Bernie Sanders has given us that golden trifecta:  He said it, it was on film, and he meant every word — no backpedaling.

Here’s what he said on NBC’s Meet The Press yesterday morning:

Wow.  I’m thinking back to the rambling answer Kamala Harris gave to CNN’s Dana Bash when asked why her policies had suddenly changed.  Most of the answer was literally a “word salad” (as we previously reported).  But did she actually say the true thing out loud — just like Bernie?

“Dana, …my values have not changed.” -Kamala Harris

That was almost identical to Bernie’s admission:  “I don’t think she’s abandoning her ideals.  I think she’s trying to be pragmatic and doing what she thinks is right in order to win the election.”

So in a nutshell:

• Stealing President Trump’s policies and slapping her own name on them…
• Shifting away from the more extreme progressive views on multiple issues…
• Avoiding the press or giving media interviews as a general rule…

These are all about trying to hide who she really is just long enough to get elected?  That’s my takeaway from Bernie’s words, Kamala’s words, and good ole’ fashioned basic logic.

But I’ve always heard that “certain” shadowy groups like to say upfront — they are almost duty bound — to announce their plans in advance.  Is that what we’re seeing?  Is the truth hidden right in plain sight?  (Isn’t it, usually?)

Here’s more on what Bernie had to say from Fox News:

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., gave a candid answer when asked about Vice President Kamala Harris flip-flopping on several of her progressive policy positions with less than two months to go until the November election.

“She has previously supported Medicare-For-All, now she does not. She’s previously supported a ban on fracking, now she does not. These, senator, are ideas that you have campaigned on. Do you think she is abandoning her progressive ideals?” NBC anchor Kristen Welker asked Sanders on “Meet the Press.”

“No, I don’t think she’s abandoning her ideals,” he replied. “I think she’s trying to be pragmatic and doing what she thinks is right in order to win the election.”

Since emerging as the Democratic nominee, Harris has distanced herself from far-left policies on immigration, energy and health care that she previously embraced.

Of course, President Trump caught this while it was hot off the press (he beat me to it!), and he didn’t beat around the bush.  Here’s what President Trump had to say on his Truth Social account:

The funny thing is, isn’t that basically what Bernie said?  Leave it to President Trump to call out the deception AND the “dishonor” among thieves, all at once!  And he wasn’t the only one taking to the digital “air” waves with a warning for us:

But Kamala told us her "values have not changed."

And yesterday, Bernie said the quiet part out loud.

Byron Donalds was reportedly on President Trump’s shortlist for potential VP picks, and I know why — that guy doesn’t miss an opportunity to point out how the other side is trying to deceive the American people!  I think the ruse is up, and Byron nails it here:

And yesterday, Bernie said the quiet part out loud.
The Democrats are playing YOU.

You know that feeling when a hunch you had lines up with a hunch someone else has, and you both end up being right?  That’s how I’m feeling right now reading President Trump’s Truth Social post and Byron Donalds’ X.com post.  Unfortunately… sometimes it sucks to be right.

Occasionally, even those who have a completely different agenda will “agree” in theory, or at least… sometimes they won’t hide the facts that prove the truth of the theory.  I’m actually surprised NBC aired the clip of Bernie saying what he said without editing it out!  (Oh, wait — that was LIVE TV, wasn’t it…)

Even in the story where NBC covered the interview, they couldn’t fully back away.  If you don’t have it on film… did it even really happen?  Luckily, we have the film.  And we have this from NBC:

In recent weeks, Harris has changed her stance on certain issues, like supporting a ban on fracking, the ecologically controversial method of extracting oil and gas, and supporting proposals for “Medicare for All.”

Also last week, Harris backed a 25% minimum tax on total income, including “unrealized gains,” which is often known as the “billionaire minimum tax.”
“It’s just not right that those who can most afford it are often paying a lower tax rate than our teachers and our nurses and our firefighters. That’s why I support a billionaire minimum tax and corporations’ paying their fair share,” Harris said at the campaign event in New Hampshire.

Sanders said Sunday that he still considers Harris to be a progressive.

“She is not where I am,” he said, but he added that her campaign’s positions on making the child tax credit permanent, expanding affordable housing options and boosting unions are still “a big deal.”

“Her views are not mine, but I do consider her progressive,” he said.

Me, too, Bernie.  Her views are definitively “not mine” — and I consider her a progressive of the worst order; the kind that are intent on IMPOSING THEIR WILL on everybody else!

But… I can’t help but wonder how easily the cover story of “moderate”, and the avoidance tactic will hold up?  After all, tomorrow’s the big day!  It remains to be seen which tactic Kamala will lean on most during the big debate tomorrow, when President Trump attempts to “expose her” for who she really is — just as he promised a few days ago.

Will she “pragmatically” try to change her stripes to come across as more moderate?  Or will she simply deflect, avoid, and change the subject whenever she’s in danger of being exposed for the far-left candidate she really is?  Those cameras can be unforgiving — particularly with President Trump ready to keep her honest.  (Is that possible, though???)

I don’t know about you, but I’ll have popcorn popping for the big show tomorrow night to find out!  And we’ll be sure to bring you the fallout after it all goes down!
