With less than two months before the 2024 election, and just over four months until the next inauguration, Joe Biden has currently spent 40.3% of his presidency on vacation, more than any other president in history.

As Breitbart reports, the Republican National Committee (RNC) Research team posted a video on August 31st showing Biden relaxing in a chair on a Delaware beach.

“Biden spent today — his 16th straight day on vacation — lounging on the beach,” the post read. “He has spent a total of 532 days (40.3% of his presidency) on vacation. Who’s running the country?”

Biden has spent the last 16 consecutive days on vacation in Rehoboth Beach. The Economic Times even admitted that his extensive time off while serving as president “greatly surpasses that of his predecessors.”

“Former President Donald Trump spent about 26% of his presidency on personal trips, while Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama took vacations during approximately 11% of their two-term presidencies. Jimmy Carter, in his single term, took only 79 days off,” the article states.

Other vacations Biden has taken besides Delaware include Nantucket Island, Massachusetts, and Kiawah Island, North Carolina.

Biden has all but vanished from the public eye since he withdrew from the presidential race on July 21st, following widespread demands to do so after his disastrous debate performance against former President Donald Trump on June 27th. He subsequently endorsed his Vice President, Kamala Harris, to succeed him as the Democratic Party’s nominee.

A recent poll by CBS News and YouGov found that 72% of registered voters believe Biden no longer has the “mental” and “cognitive health” to continue serving as president.
