Angel Reese Starts a New Podcast, Immediately Makes Racism Accusations Involving Caitlin Clark

Prepare to be shocked. WNBA rookie Angel Reese has started a podcast, and her very first episode included accusations of racism related to Caitlin Clark.

As RedState has reported, Reese has done her best to keep her one-sided feud with the phenom alive despite the latter solidifying herself as Rookie of the Year (unless something shocking happens with the voting). More recently, Clark set a WNBA record for points, rebounds, and assists in a single game while helping to dominate Reese's Chicago Sky. During that game, Clark was subjected to another flagrant foul after she was blind-sided at mid-court.

On her podcast called "Unapologicalltely Angel," Reese claimed that fans of Caitlin Clark were racist. She didn't provide any evidence for that assertion.

Angel Reese debuted her new podcast on Thursday by calling Caitlin Clark’s fans racists and accusing them of sending nude AI pics of her to her family.

Reese devoted a significant portion of the podcast to discussing her longtime rivalry with Clark. Specifically, she cited the moment she pointed to her ring finger after she and her LSU teammates defeated Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes in the 2023 national championship game.

The former LSU star believes this moment not only intensified her rivalry with Clark but also turned Clark’s fanbase against her.

“I think it’s really just the fans, her fans, the Iowa fans, now the Indiana fans, that are really just, they ride for her, and I respect that, respectfully,” Reese explained. “But sometimes it’s very disrespectful. I think there’s a lot of racism when it comes to it.”

I'm not going to sit here and pretend no one has ever expressed racism toward Reese. There are somewhere around 320 million people in the United States and nearly eight billion on Earth. I'm sure some random person has said something they shouldn't have to Reese on social media or from the stands.

What makes this so weird is the obsession she clearly has with Clark. The latter continues to keep everything on the court, not stoking petty personal grievances while Reese continues to pretend she's oppressed and wronged on a routine basis. I mean come on, Reese was a top pick who has gotten tons of fanfare and glowing coverage from the likes of ESPN despite her biggest skill being rebounding her own misses.

The phrase "grow up" comes to mind. The Chicago Sky star should stop looking to play the victim and just go do her job. The rest will take care of itself. Her continuing down the path she's on just makes the WNBA look divisive. That's never good for a sports league that has never turned a profit in its existence. Clark is a legitimately better and far more exciting player. Her team is also much better. She gets the accolades because she deserves them. Crying racism is weak.
