The White House was reportedly directing the communications response between different cabinet secretaries in response to questioning about removing Joe Biden from office for incompetence with the 25th Amendment, per a report from the Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project. This comes as Kamala Harris has taken his spot in the 2024 race for the presidency.

According to the Heritage Foundation's Oversight Project (OP), the White House was seen coordinating the response to the OP's inquiries about whether or not different cabinet members were in favor or opposed to removing Biden from office. The OP wrote, “We have learned that the White House was directing the communications response for inquiries to cabinet secretaries regarding whether Joe Biden should be removed for incompetence via the 25th Amendment.”

The initial email, sent on June 27 following Biden's disastrous debate performance against Donald Trump, asked whether United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Tom Vilsack supports "using the 25th Amendment to remove President Biden?" The email asked that a response be sent by the end of day July 1, and was sent to USDA Chief of Staff Katharine Ferguson and Deputy Chief of Staff Justo Robles.

A follow-up email was sent on July 2, informing Ferguson and Robles that "we are publishing our results at 5 pm today and we will list USDA as undecided if we do not receive a timely response." OP's "25th Amendment Tracker" was keeping tabs on which secretaries were opposed or in favor of having him removed. According to the tracker back in July, all were opposed or undecided on removing him or not.

The email was flagged by Ferguson and forwarded to a number of USDA officials. Allan Rodriguez, the USDA press secretary, responded with a note that said "Per WH Comms," and the rest of the line is redacted from the FOIA request under deliberative privilege.

The report from OP comes as Biden was reportedly "shaking" when he walked down the steps of Air Force One in California when he went off on his vacation after his speech at the DNC. Many have wondered and polls have shown that the majority of Americans think Biden is too old for office.
