Melania Trump has released a new video previewing her first memoir, which will be released just a month before the presidential election in November.

In the video, Melania shared, “Writing this memoir has been a deeply personal and reflective journey for me.”

“As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts. I believe it is important to share my perspective, the truth,” added Melania.

Former first lady Melania Trump wants to “clarify the facts” about her life, she said in a Thursday video previewing her first memoir that will be released about a month before the election.

The direct plea to the public is unusual for the wife of former President Trump, as she has stayed largely off the campaign trail during former his current White House bid.

“Writing this memoir has been a deeply personal and reflective journey for me,” she said in the video.

“As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts. I believe it is important to share my perspective, the truth.”

Trump has come out with three books since leaving office. Two are photo books and one revealed private letters received from big-name celebrities, politicians and business titans.

Melania Trump’s interactions with prospective voters have been limited this campaign cycle— and mostly contained to written statement or mostly non-speaking appearances.

Former first lady Melania Trump promoted her upcoming memoir Thursday, saying in a new video that she feels “a responsibility to clarify the facts.”

“Writing this memoir has been a deeply and reflective journey for me. As a private person who has often been the subject of public scrutiny and misrepresentation, I feel a responsibility to clarify the facts,” the former first lady says in the video posted to her X account.

“I believe it is important to share my perspective: the truth,” she adds, before the words “My Story,” “My Perspective” and “The Truth” flash on screen.

The black-and-white video promoting her memoir includes clips and photographs from the former first lady’s time in office, including her trips abroad and her interactions with children. The post also links to a page to pre-order the book.
