Hungary is warning Western powers about letting Ukraine hit Russia with long-range missiles, as the years-long war continues to escalate despite no realistic path to victory for Ukraine.

“If long-range attacks hit the territory of Russia, then the risk of escalation will only increase,” said Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto in a Facebook post before a scheduled meeting of various EU foreign ministers in Brussels. “We don’t want this.”

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has recently traveled to Ukraine, Russia and China in the hopes of de-escalating conflict. This has left him as a pariah to the blood-thirsty, xenophobic Western powers who are drooling at the prospect of World War 3. The EU moved their scheduled summit for foreign ministers from Budapest to Brussels in order to punish Orban for attempting to broker peace.

Josep Borrell, the EU’s top foreign policy official, used the meeting to propagandize for Ukraine to use the long-range missiles and further escalate the conflict.

The weaponry that we are providing to Ukraine has to have full use, and the restrictions have to be lifted in order for the Ukrainians to be able to target the places [from] where Russia is bombing them. Otherwise, the weaponry is useless,” he said.

Szijjarto described Borrell’s policies as “reckless” following the meeting and reiterated Hungary’s position in favor of peace between Russia and Ukraine.

“We do not want more weapons in Ukraine, we do not want more deaths, we do not want an escalation of the war, we do not want an expansion of the crisis in the Middle East. Today, we continue to stand for common sense and peace,” he said.

“Hungary has had enough of the scam that the corrupt Ukrainian government is pulling. They are demanding that the European Union (EU) halt future aid payments until Ukraine can explain exactly where the funds are going.

Hungary is opposing the EU’s plans to give an additional $50 billion in financial aid to Ukraine until they explain where the last $70 billion went.

“One thing is clear, we Hungarians… will not give more money to Ukraine until they say where the previous around 70 billion euros worth of funds has gone,” Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said to Hungarian radio.

“And we find it utterly ridiculous and absurd, that we should contribute more money to finance debt service costs of a loan, from which we have still not received the funds we are entitled to get,” he added.”

If Western Civilization will survive this bizarre era, the world will have bold and brave statesmen like Viktor Orban to thank.
