The Secret Service failed to protect former President Donald Trump and the embattled agency will be taxed to the limit by the peak of presidential-campaign season.

But it will be well-represented at an LGBTQ summit at Disney World.

Reporter Susan Crabtree of RealClear Politics posted Wednesday on social media an agency-wide email from the Service’s DEI office that solicited people to attend the “Out and Equal” Workplace Summit at the Orlando, Florida, theme park.

The email asked every assistant director’s office to send by Sept. 13 to the Director of Alternative Employment nominees for the all-expense-paid conference that runs Oct. 7-10.

“Any questions regarding this announcement should be directed to chief, Alternative Employment, DEIA, and Data Analytics” or to the “administrative manager,” the email states.

“Do you believe that?” an incredulous Rep. Pat Fallon, Texas Republican, said Wednesday evening on Fox News.

He wasn’t the only person who found the report hard to swallow.

“I would like to know with the operational tempo [we’re under], how they think this is an appropriate use of manpower?” a source in the Secret Service community told Ms. Crabtree.

According to her report posted on X, numerous Secret Service employees are already working seven days a week and have hit the “superman limit” for overtime pay.

Last week, the agency said it is so stretched by the demands of providing security for the presidential and vice-presidential campaigns and for the U.N. General Assembly later this month, that it is tapping into the Defense Department for supplemental personnel and will be doing so at least through the presidential inauguration in January.

The “Out and Equal Conference,” Ms. Crabtree noted, “boasts the participation of many Fortune 500 companies and “government agencies” and lists as sponsors many big U.S. companies, including Boeing, The Walt Disney Company, Target, McDonald’s, Morgan Stanley, Apple, Accenture, JPMorganChase, Bank of America, Experian, Dell Technologies, Deloitte and many others.”
