Gentlemen, you blew it. Big time. HUGE. I don’t know who you’re listening to, or who you think you’re winning over, but you need to show more backbone.

This “we just want abortion to be a states-rights issue” stuff is cowardly. Slavery deserved to be abolished in every state because it was utterly immoral and evil. Period.

Abortion must be abolished in every state for the same reasons. There is no such thing as any “right” to kill the child in the womb. Period. There is no gray area here. It is the preeminent moral question of our time: Is the child in the womb a human being or not?

Civil Societies Don’t Do This

The only correct answer is yes, the child is a human being. We do not tear the arms and legs off innocent human beings. We do not suction innocent human beings into a vacuum. We do not stab them in the heart with poison to kill them, we do not harvest their organs for sale, we do not decapitate them for profit.

We do not allow an industry to develop around such heinous practices and call it “choice.” We do not defend such a barbarous industry and call it “freedom.” We do not victimize girls and women through this industry and call it “reproductive rights.”

You need to STOP using the euphemistic sophistry of the abortion industry. You need to be men with chests and call this wicked thing what it is: killing an innocent child. Not “reproductive rights” or “choice.”

Next Steps

Yes, Roe was bad law and needed to be overturned. It was a glorious day when that happened. Thank you, President Trump, for your part in achieving that victory.

But that was the beginning, not the end of what we must do. Abortion must be declared illegal because it is always morally wrong. It should never be sanctioned by any decent, compassionate society. It is barbaric.

Abortion must become unthinkable as well as illegal. Hearts and minds must be changed, and that is a work of grace and love, but in the meantime, we start by recognizing that abortion is an act of violence that a just society cannot abide. We start by protecting the child in the womb from being terminated.

I am beyond disheartened to hear the two of you sound more like Democrats all the time. Appeasing the “choice” voters is not the way to go. You must be men of integrity and consistency. Stand for what is right, and be steadfast.

There’s No ‘Freedom’ in ‘Choice’

This nation will never enjoy the blessings of freedom and justice as long as it demands the “right” to kill its own children. This nation cannot expect the protection of Almighty God while we spill the blood of our babies in the womb.

We need real men, with real courage, to fight the Goliath of abortion in our country. It is an enemy that preys upon women and children. No woman is ever empowered by an abortion, but plenty of predatory men are!

Abortion hurts women and girls. It kills children. It deforms the character of men. It is the most destructive force in our society. If you think we can stand just a little off it, if it’s restricted and well-regulated, then you are being conned by the master of lies.

I can’t imagine a more nightmarish scenario than a Harris/Walz administration. I pray God will spare us such a terrible reality.

But President Trump, Senator Vance, you have let me down. You have shown a willingness to tolerate a grave evil that you once said you opposed. If political expediency is your motive, then I fear for you. This is not an “issue” on which to compromise. Show yourselves to be men who will do what is right, whatever the cost.

Swing for the Forehead

That is the kind of leadership and manliness that voters like me are looking for. I thank God with all my heart, President Trump, that your life was spared, and the bullet meant to kill you missed its mark so miraculously.

Do not now fail to protect the vulnerable children being put to death by “choice.” Do not now speak of “reproductive rights” as though it means anything other than legally targeting a helpless child for execution.

Speak words of truth and clarity, not euphemisms, slogans, and sophistry. Women deserve better than abortion. We deserve leaders who are willing to say so and work to make it so.

Please correct your course. The real cost is far greater than anything political. May God bless you, give you His light, give you courage and strength. May He remind you how giants are felled when we fight for what is right.
