A robot, demonstrating the possibilities of artificial intelligence, has reassured those at a press conference that it's not planning to replace humanity.
"At least not today."
That, and other statements that could be described as concerning, were captured on video:
The robot's programmed responses discounted AI "designing itself."

"That's like asking when a toaster will start making its own bread."
But it did offer a bit of a warning: "Be careful what you wish for. An AI that can design itself is one step away from an AI that doesn't need humans."
