CNN released a short clip of Democrat presidential contender Kamala Harris fielding a question about her many flip-flops during her taped interview Thursday and responding with one of her signature word salads. Harris and V.P. nominee Minn. Governor Tim Walz sat for a joint interview with CNN’s Dana Bash scheduled to air at 9:00 ET.

Since securing the nomination, the Democrat has radically changed her left-wing positions on the border wall, fracking, “Green New Deal” mandates,  the 2nd Amendment, defunding the police, health insurance, and taxes, flipping to more moderate GOP-friendly stances.

“How should voters look at some of the changes that you’ve made?” Bash asked Harris. “Is it because you have more experience now and you’ve learned more about the information? Is it because you were running for president in a Democratic primary? And should they feel comfortable and confident that what you’re saying now is going to be your policy moving forward?”

After flip-flopping on so many positions, Harris must have been expecting that question would be asked, yet she seemed to struggle in her response.

“Dana, I think the, the, the most important and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is my values have not changed,” she began. “You mentioned the Green New Deal. I have always believed—and I have worked on it—that the climate crisis is real, that it is an urgent matter to which we should apply metrics that include holding ourselves to deadlines around time.”

Harris then said Biden-Harris regime accomplished applying those metrics with the Inflation Reduction Act, which was supposed to be about reducing inflation, not a backdoor implementation of the Green New Deal.

“We have set goals for the United States of America and by extension, the globe, around when we should meet certain standards for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, as an example. That value has not changed,” she said. “My values have not changed. So that is the reality of it,” she told Bash.

To tout her “values” on the border, Harris claimed that as California attorney general she was tough on illegal immigration and drug trafficking gangs.

“My value around what we need to do to secure our border, that value has not changed,” Harris said. “I spent two terms as the attorney general of California prosecuting transnational criminal organizations, violations of American laws regarding the illegal passage of drugs, guns and human beings across the border. My values did not change.”

Some Southern California law enforcement officials have strongly disputed Harris’ newfound pose as a border hawk who is tough on “transnational criminal organizations.”

Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux  recently objected to a “misleading” political ad that praised Harris’ border security record while using his image without permission.

“When you see that advertisement, if you do a little research, you’ll find that what she’s (Harris) touting goes completely against what was happening at the time, so when she put that picture out there with me in it, I got really upset, that ad is all smoke and mirrors,” Boudreaux told Fox News. “I do not support her.”

He said Harris traveled to California’s Central Valley in 2014 to take credit for “a years-long investigation into a multi-national drug operation, with ties to Mexican drug cartels and prison gangs,” that was done by local law enforcement.

According to the sheriff,  11 people were arrested, including suspected “kingpin” Jose Magana of Dinuba in that case.

“The truth is, Harris never cared about the cartels and did nothing to stop people from illegally crossing the border,” Boudreaux said.

The interview, Harris’ first since announcing her candidacy, allegedly clocked in at less than 20 minutes,  according to Trump Campaign senior advisor Jason Miller.

“Hearing that CNN will NOT be releasing the full transcript of all 18-minutes (total) of the interview with Kamala Harris and Human Blocking Dummy Coach Walz,” Miller posted on X.  “What’s being cut out???”
