Don Lemon was one of the most partisan names in the media during his time at CNN from 2014 until 2023.

But Lemon started his own show after CNN gave him the boot in April of 2023.

And Don Lemon nearly broke down in tears when Jen Psaki asked him this one question about black voters and Donald Trump.

From 2014 until 2023, Don Lemon was one of the top hosts at CNN.

In 2002, Lemon won the Edward R. Murrow Award for his coverage of the Washington, D.C. sniper.

His special report on real estate in Chicago also earned him three regional Emmy Awards.

Lemon was one of the biggest cheerleaders for the Democrat Party and fiercest critics of Donald Trump during his time at CNN.

After CNN fired him in early 2023, Lemon launched his own show on social media called The Don Lemon Show.

In recent weeks, Lemon has been posting videos of him having conversations with random voters on the sidewalk in towns and cities across the country.

“Lemon recently posted videos of his conversations with voters in Atlantic City, Cleveland and Pittsburgh in which he asked their thoughts about Trump and Vice President Harris while attempting to defend the economy under President Biden,” Fox News reported.

And Lemon was outright shocked by what he heard from the people, especially black voters.

The former CNN partisan could not believe how many black voters told him they were supporting Donald Trump over Kamala Harris.

On Monday, Lemon appeared for an interview with Jen Psaki on MSNBC, where he discussed his “man on the street” style videos.

And Lemon nearly broke down when talking about Trump making inroads in the black community.

“What are some of the things or trends that surprised you about some of those conversations?” Psaki asked Lemon.

“I don’t know if it was surprising, but it was certainly eye-opening to hear so many people – even people of color and women – saying they are going to support Donald Trump,” Lemon said. “I am not quite sure that the polls are accurate, as it relates to the tightening of the polls and who will support whom.”

Lemon then tried to downplay the amount of black men who support Trump by claiming they only did so because of the free handouts during COVID.

“But there were a lot of black men, Jen, who said they were supporting Donald Trump simply because he gave them a stimulus check,” Lemon said. “He gave them $1,200 back when he was president.”

Of course, most black voters support Democrats for the same reason – free handouts.

“Was there anything, what did they think about Harris?” Psaki asked. “What did they think about her?”

Lemon said it “depends on where you are.”

“We went to a number of different battleground states: Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Illinois on our way to Chicago,” he said. “It sort of depended on where you were,” he continued. “Philadelphia was a bit more liberal, and the answers to questions about her and him were quite different.”

Lemon said that most people had no clue who Kamala Harris was and “were not familiar with her.” 

He admitted that most voters view Donald Trump as being better for the economy, which is reflected in the polls.

Democrats are in a frenzy over the fact that polls show Trump’s support is increasing in the black community.

Exit polling in 2020 showed only 12 percent of black voters went with Trump.

But a CBS News/YouGov poll taken in June showed Trump with 23 percent support among black voters, which is nearly double the number from 2020.

Democrats depend on the black vote to win elections.

And they know they are toast if Donald Trump continues waking up black voters to the reality of the Democrat Party.
