Grand Jury in Pennsylvania Looking Into Trump Assassination Attempt

A grand jury has been empaneled in the Western District of Pennsylvania to investigate the July 13 assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.

Human Events broke the news. Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) denied a request for information on shooter Thomas Crooks from America First Legal because of the “ongoing criminal investigation.”

“Specifically,” the letter states, “the records that you have requested are within the scope of a grand jury subpoena issued to CCAC by the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and which the U.S. Attorney’s Office has confirmed relate to an ongoing criminal investigation.”

According to Human Events, this is the first indication that a grand jury is looking into the attempt on Trump’s life. News of the grand jury comes two days after the Daily Mail reported Crooks’s parents have hired high-powered criminal attorneys themselves.

Meanwhile, the FBI claimed Wednesday that Crooks had been planning an attack at a mass gathering and saw the fateful Butler rally as a “target of opportunity.” Crooks, they say, searched for information on Trump and Joe Biden more than 60 times, and looked into both the Republican and Democratic conventions. The bureau, whose word is not exactly golden, says it has not been able to firmly ascertain a motive for Crooks and there was no evidence he was backed by a foreign entity.

SCOTUS Again Blocks Biden Unilateral Effort to Forgive Student Loans

Earlier this year, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Joe Biden’s efforts to use taxpayer money to “forgive” student loans without congressional approval was unconstitutional. Rather than accept the ruling, the Biden-Harris administration tried again. And on Wednesdday, the High Court again slapped the administration down.

Specifically, SCOTUS refused to lift a block on the plan issued by several lower courts.

Kamala Harris Posts Letter from “Tucker” About Gun Control to Create Impression It Came from Tucker Carlson

I’m beginning to think Kamala Harris is Milli Vanilli, but without the dreadlocks and fancy dance moves. In other words, she’s a hoaxter. An illusionist. A charlatan.

Late Tuesday, Harris posted from her official vice presidential account on X a handwritten letter signed “Tucker” commending her for pushing for “common sense” gun control measures. The entire point of the post was to convey the idea that Tucker Carlson had written it to her.

Tucker, thank you for writing to me. While we may not agree on every issue, we both know that every person in our nation should have the freedom to live safe from gun violence. The majority of Americans stand with us in support of commonsense gun safety legislation. pic.twitter.com/HUdgFUcKtt

Carlson struck back, first with a statement to Gateway Pundit:

Ha! Seriously? I’m carrying a gun right now, as I always do. There are few things I hate more than the Democratic Party’s attempt to disarm the American population. That’s what dictatorships do. People actually think I sent a handwritten letter to Kamala Harris endorsing gun confiscation? That’s moronic.

Then with a cutting, satirical X post of his own, he displayed a handwritten letter from “Kamala.”

Since college, I have considered myself moderately progressive, in the sense that I don’t believe in law enforcement, national borders, or the right of American citizens to exercise fundamental human autonomy.

Who in Harris’s office thought her post was a good idea and would not open a Pandora’s box of mockery? Again, this didn’t come from her campaign managers. This was from the White House — in other words, the people who posted it are the ones running the country while Joe’s sunning himself at the beach.

Federal Judge Approves Florida Ban on Puberty Blockers and Sex-Change Surgeries on Minors

The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Monday that Florida’s ban on sex-change surgeries and puberty blockers for minors can be enforced while legal challenges play out in the courts.

As a result of the ruling, the mutilation and chemical castration of children in Florida has come to a halt.

Gov. Ron DeSantis responded to the ruling on X, saying, “Florida will always stand for sanity. Let kids be kids.”

Say What? Vermont Does Not Want You to Call Your Son or Daughter “Son” or “Daughter”

Libs of TikTok uncovered a post from the Vermont Department of Health urging families to refrain from referring to their children as “sons” or “daughters” because those terms aren’t “inclusive.”

Aussie Women’s Soccer Team Sweeps Season. Having Five Trans Athletes on Board Will Do That for Ya

The Flying Bats women’s soccer team recently ended its season undefeated after winning the World Premiere League grand finale. We’d happily salute the accomplishment, reference the 1972 Miami Dolphins, and all the rest — but we can’t. Why? Because the Flying Bats fields five biological men who identify as women.

According to the Daily Mail, the team won all 16 of its matches, scoring 65 goals and giving up only 4. Six of those games the Flying Studs … I mean, Bats … won by forfeit after other teams refused to play against a bunch of blokes.

Australian soccer commentator Lucy Zelic, who has been vocal in condemning men being allowed to play in the women’s league, expressed her bitterness over this after the Flying Bats’ 5-4 victory Sunday over West Pennant Hills Cherrybrook Football Club.

Zelic put it better in an earlier statement: Forcing females to compete against men is “a crime against women.”

Ohio State Football Players Help Lead Scores to Christ at Campus Revival

At least 60 students were baptized over the weekend at Ohio State University, at the end of a faith gathering led by members of Buckeyes football team. The school newspaper The Lantern reports between 800 and 1,000 people attended the weekend event that was jointly hosted by a handful of Ohio State stars and local Christian organizations.

A glorious day for the Kingdom … though there may have been just a little disappointment when the new Buckeye believers learned that even Michigan Wolverines can accept the free gift of salvation.
