What has been known surrounding the case is that the shooter Thomas Matthew Crook's father, Matthew Crooks, has retained a lawyer and 5 Secret Service from the Pittsburgh field office covering Butler have been placed on leave.
This new development comes after a request from America First Legal to the Community College of Allegheny County, the school which Crook's attended, for records was denied. AFL received a letter that stated his student files, disciplinary records, documents, etc "relate to an ongoing criminal investigation" and "are within the scope of a grand jury subpoena."
Posobiec revealed that to his knowledge, this information was not provided to US Congress or the government task force designated to the case that was recently in Butler and "in fact hasn't been released to anyone that's investigating this on the Congressional side."
The main question that arises from this information is "who exactly is the grand jury going after" to potentially bring criminal charges against, the host said. He contemplated if it could be members of the Secret Service, local Butler police, or Crook's father.
Posobiec's guest, Vish Burra, said that he is "hoping that it's actually somebody in the CIA or something like that because there's too many questions that need to be answered and we've already seen bad faith actions taken by the Secret Service, the CIA," particularly the Secret Service as they have been deleting messages already, he said.
The two then considered that if charges were to be brought against someone, they could ultimately be "the fall guy" who would be "fed to the masses" to make it look like the situation has been taken care of after global outrage and questions over what is being done. Burra said that this would be an attempt take the attention off of the massive security failures that happened on July 13, which he dubbed "J13."
