Pro wrestling legend Sid Eudy, better known as Sid Justice, Sid Vicious, and Sycho Sid, has died after a lengthy battle with cancer. Eudy was 63.
"I am deeply saddened to share that my father, Sid Eudy, has passed away after battling cancer for several years," Gunnar Eudy, the son of the wrestler, announced on Facebook. "He was a man of strength, kindness, and love, and his presence will be greatly missed. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we grieve this loss. Details for a memorial service will be shared soon. Thank you for your support," Fox News reported.
The WWE wrote on X in response to Eudy’s passing, "WWE is saddened to learn that Sid Eudy has passed away. WWE extends its condolences to Eudy’s family, friends and fans."
During his wrestling career, which began in 1987, Eudy was seen in the Continental Championship Wrestling, National Wrestling Alliance, United States Wrestling Association, and the WWE, which was then known as the World Wrestling Federation, going against big names like Hulk Hogan.
Eudy made sporadic appearances until 2017 across several wrestling promotions.
