Bill Clinton was embroiled in major scandals throughout his political career.

Yet the beloved Democrat just had another chance to be in the spotlight after delivering a speech at the Democratic National Convention.

Now Bill Clinton just freaked out guests at the DNC after they made one key observation while he was on the stage.

Clinton’s voice and hands were shaky

Attendees who witnessed former President Bill Clinton’s DNC speech noticed something alarming: he had a raspy, shaky voice and trembling hands while he made his remarks.

The 78-year-old was the opening act for Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Democrat Governor Tim Walz, as well as for former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Pennsylvania Democrat Governor Josh Shapiro.

During the speech, Clinton made several references to his age.

“I want to say this from the bottom of my heart, I have no idea how many more of these I’ll be able to come to. I started in ’76 and I’ve been [to] every one since – no, ’72. Lord, I’m getting old,” said Clinton.

“Let’s cut to the chase, I am too old to gild the lily. Two days ago, I turned 78, the oldest many in my family for four generations,” he added.

Clinton then went on to slam former President Donald Trump, who just turned 78 in June.

“And the only personal vanity I want to assert is I’m still younger than Donald Trump,” Clinton quipped to reactions of laughter and a round of applause.

Despite his comments, many people watching the DNC on television said they were shocked at his aging appearance and slow-paced energy.

One commenter noted on X, “Clinton looks way beyond his years. He is speaking slowly, raspy shaky voice. . . he has aged in every way.”

Another user had even harsher words, saying, “Clinton has shaky hands as he speaks. He should join Joe and go to the nursing home.”

A separate viewer said that Clinton “has lost his fastball and is sucking the energy out of the United Center.”

Bill heaps praise on Biden

During his speech, Bill Clinton piled on the praise for President Joe Biden, who is currently enjoying a vacation at a donor’s $37 million ranch in California.

Clinton said, “I want to thank him for his courage, compassion, his class, his service, his sacrifice. He kept the faith and he’s infected a lot of the rest of us.”

The former President also noted that he was happy Biden is moving on, referencing his fellow Democrats by saying, “We feel like a load is off our shoulders.”

He repeatedly mispronounced Kamala Harris’ name but described her and Walz as “two leaders with all American but still improbable life stories, it can only happen here. Their careers, after all, started in community, courtrooms, and classrooms.”

Rep. Pelosi later took the stage and gave a short four-minute speech in which she mentioned Jan. 6, 2021, and praised Biden for having “one of the most successful presidencies of modern times.”
