The Issue: The Democratic National Convention’s end with a speech from Vice President Kamala Harris.

Now that the DNC love fest — with its fun, laughter, joy, unicorns, and rainbows — is over, what is Kamala Harris going to do that she hasn’t managed to do under President Biden (“No-plan Kam sells new hope,” Aug. 23)?

She is being touted as the best thing since sliced bread, simply because she can read from a teleprompter and doesn’t fall over.

Oh, right: She promises to curb the inflation that she and Joe created.

And yes, she’s been “tough” on the border — after over 10 million illegals have invaded this country.

Voters, if you want a better life, vote Republican.

Vote like your life depends on it — because it does.

The new darling of the party transformed overnight and delivered exactly what the delegates demanded. And boy, did they drink the Kool-Aid.

She failed to address the real pressing issues that impact our everyday lives — like the economy, crime and the border crisis.

It will be difficult for her to escape the Biden connection since she’s a cloned product of the same Democratic machine, and her policies will be a continuation of more of the radical same.

With a well-delivered — and platitude-filled — speech, Harris brought the Democratic convention to a close.

She failed to differentiate herself from the Biden administration, instead supporting Biden’s policies.

A self-described progressive on the far left, Harris will bankrupt this country with giveaways to home-buyers, student-loan debtors and illegal immigrants.

In true socialist fashion, she will distribute our hard-earned taxes to anyone who hasn’t earned or deserved them.

She should be kept far from the White House.

The Democrats trolled former President Donald Trump throughout their entire roll-out, which seems to be their only play, since their candidate is silly and vacuous.

Patriots need to beat this farce of a campaign and bring joy back to our country.

The Issue: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. dropping out of the 2024 presidential race and endorsing Trump.

Along with his endorsement of former President Donald Trump, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s participation in the Trump campaign could have a meaningful impact on the 2024 presidential election (“RFK open to joining GOP ticket,” Aug. 21)

Like Trump, RFK Jr. has faced censorship, disinformation and has been consistently ignored by the media. Even Kennedy’s own family has forsaken him for party loyalty.

The Democratic Party is no longer the party of his father.

It was brave of RFK Jr. to let go of the Democrats and put his loyalty to the country first.

With a plea to his followers on behalf of his country, he just might seal the deal for Trump — an act of a true leader.

Trump, getting even more desperate, could drop J.D. Vance and bring on RFK Jr. as his VP running mate.

Now that would be a ticket — two morons running to govern our country. Scary stuff.
