By now you’ve heard of the bus Planned Parenthood parked outside the at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago this week, where they performed abortions and vasectomies. But did you know pro-lifers also were there with their own bus? 

Several pro-life groups came together to provide support and hope to pregnant women, going into the darkest of places to minister.

ThriVe Nation, a life-affirming mobile medical unit, provided ultrasounds to women who were pregnant or thought they might be pregnant, LiveAction reported.

Meanwhile, Sidewalk Advocates for Life provided information about preborn children and women’s options, held compassionate conversations about life and family, and prayed over people who were willing.

Sidewalk Advocates for Life posted Wednesday on Facebook, “Here are our big takeaways from outside the DNC yesterday – info you might not hear elsewhere:

1. This was NOT the big hype Planned Parenthood was hoping it would be. Our team’s countless conversations with workers, passersby, and convention attendees confirmed this. No one cared … or even wanted Planned Parenthood there. They saw past the smoke and mirrors for the circus it was.
2. Don’t believe the press that will be coming out this week about how “successful” this event was. Very few clients showed up at the bus at all yesterday. The people you see in photos or videos are NOT actual clients.
3. The few clients that did show up were not loved, were not taken care of. The Planned Parenthood staff was concerned about their press and highlighting their staged performance rather than the health of their clients (no surprise here!). We reached out as best we could, but the fencing and guards made it very difficult. Please pray for the women and the hurt they will be carrying with them.
4. Our day was fruitful in ways we will never be able to quantify. We had dozens of conversations with workers, attendees, and passersby where we handed out gift bags and literature, and had genuine conversations about life and family (and even motorcycling and pizza!), and prayed with individuals over requests they brought us.

Thank you for your amazing outpouring of support yesterday. We could FEEL your prayers and we SAW them at work, friends. We witnessed the beauty of the pro-life community coming together through collaboration with EveryLife, Americans United for Life and ThriVe Nation. Our day in Chicago is proof that when we say “yes” to serving, God can and will work through us.

Meanwhile, the pro-life company EveryLife offered a lifetime supply of free diapers to pregnant women.

EveryLife posted Tuesday on X, “EveryLife is honored to provide a tangible resource to help these moms in need choose life, knowing that diapers can be the difference between life and death for a baby! Thank you to @SWAdvocates @LiveAction and @ThriveStLouis for partnering with us, and being on the ground Chicago!”

Americans United for Life was also present. They posted Tuesday on Instagram, “Americans United for Life is going to be on the ground TODAY with our partners offering compassionate and alternative choices for the women of Chicago.”

Democrats for Life also attended the convention, raising “nearly FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS to provide the local Chicago community and immigrants with free diapers!” they posted on Facebook.
