Vice President Kamala Harris took the stage at the Democratic National Convention and vowed to restore abortion rights before the camera immediately panned to an infant being held in a man’s arms in the crowd.

On Thursday night at the final evening of the 2024 DNC in Chicago, Harris announced that she was accepting her party’s nomination before she talked about what her plans will be if she becomes president, including restoring so-called reproductive rights.

“And when Congress passes a bill to restore reproductive freedom, as President of the United States, I will proudly sign it into law,” Harris told the room as the crowd roared for the right to kill babies.

The camera then panned to a man in the audience holding and rocking an infant who had fallen asleep in his arms.

Before Harris officially accepted her party’s nomination, abortion-supporting artist Pink performed at the DNC, as previously reported.

Pink, whose real name is Alecia Moore, has been an outspoken supporter of the Democratic Party and specifically of abortion access for years. She reacted strongly to the overturning of Roe v. Wade in 2022 by telling fans they should stop listening to her music if they were pro-life.

“Let’s be clear: if you believe the government belongs in a woman’s uterus, a gay persons (sic) business or marriage, or that racism is okay- THEN PLEASE IN THE NAME OF YOUR LORD NEVER F***ING LISTEN TO MY MUSIC AGAIN. AND ALSO F*** RIGHT OFF. We good?” she tweeted at the time, as The Daily Wire previously reported.

Abortion has been one of several highlighted topics at this year’s convention, with Planned Parenthood announcing before that it would be in the Windy City offering “free abortions and vasectomies” near the convention, as previously reported.

On Tuesday, Pro-life news site LifeNews posted on X that the number of abortions performed during the convention were more than two dozen.

“Planned Parenthood has killed 25 babies in free abortions so far at the Democrat convention,” the post read. “They were 25 little boys and girls whose lives were made in God’s image. Our hearts break for them.”
